Love this guy man he dropped gems his last interview changed my life ! I quit my job Stop smoking and drinking Made a routine and everyday I challenge myself to stick to it( this is extremely hard) Applied for school starting January full schedule
Amazing to watch DJ And Big Herc. The wisdom and inner peace that they now have, and share with others is inspiring. It shows that despite their sins, a man can truly fall and rise again.
Every single episode with this man is worth every second. The knowledge, the accountability, the truthfulness, the rawness, the perseverance and ability to prevail, the way he got out and completely changed his life to the point his PO recommended early termination, and so much more. This man is a dope person. I’m thankful that this brotha was able to make it through his term and is now gracing us with his presence. Keep it up DJ Verrett‼️💯
Yo I have got to tell you I have really enjoyed this series right now it has just blown my mind till I'm really just speechless listening to you cats man
Damn!!! This episode was straight fire. I like how this ep closed out. We can't control how we started out in life, but we can take control of how we live it. So man da fuc up.
Thank you so much Herc and all the people you've interviewed. I'm not an ex con and I live in the UK but I've watched so many prison videos because I can still relate to them in my own way. I did have a father but he was a nasty bastard. He taught me I was worthless, he taught me that i would always suffer. Things happened in my life and they left me feeling EXACTLY like this fellas friend. "I can't do the time" I couldn't bare to live anymore. When I was medicaly discharge from the Army I felt like someone had sentenced me to death. "I can't do anything else, what can I do now?" I had created my own prison in my mind. Now that I got the help I needed and I'm better I relate to that fella "what are you going to do with the rest of it?" I know what I want. I want a family, a house, a good job, to travel, to keep training. I can't believe where I am compared to a year ago. I'm at uni, I've got work, I'm talking to an amazing woman who I wouldn't have expected to give me the time of day before (🤞), I'm doing a charity fundraiser for my home county mental health charity and loads of people are donating. They trust me to get it done (3540 weighted squats in one day) they believe in me! I just wanted you to know it's not just deprived young people and ex prisoners you help. Thank you ❤👊
All these interviews are awesome, but there is something about the way DJ speaks, and lays this stuff out; his time, his new life, his outlook on how to live. That is just so powerful. Truly appreciate the great words.
Dog...this dude is different...its like he can talk about anything an its goin to b the best story ever told.! Ghost loc: "dog..I fixed a sandwich riight..best sandwich of my life dog..not only did it consist of peanut butter..it came wit jelly dog...it coursed through my veins an made me a better person...".
God dam, I love this man. DJ, Herc, thank you for this. DJ, I'm sober just over 10 years. Thank you for being real, both of you. Much love, much respect.
This should be mandatory viewing in every high school in America. Prolific, wrenching, raw courage and extraordinary humility is on glorious display. Brother Verrett is a treasure . God Bless both of u gentlemen. Peace ✌☮
Damn this one hit me because most of us can relate. Not growing up or knowing our fathers. It’s up to us to make the decision on how we live our lives. We can break the cycle because we know what it feels like not to have shit. Great video!
I started tuning in to fresh out a week ago with a Dj Verette interview, he is so humbled and would love to get the God giving opportunity to get to talk video chat or just email and exchange conversations with him! I would love to hear more of his stories about his ascension from the depths of hell
Hello, Big Herc! Best wishes to you and thank you for your content! I always wanted to ask you this question: how did you build your massive shoulders? What exercises did you do for that kind of progress? Bless you and your family, man, have a good day!
Could you imagine what it would be like to go to jail when your sisters are 8 and 10 and you get out and they’re married with kids? That is next level crazy. It would be so Fkn weird
I get "the hard part of prison ". In the middle. But, what about thinking, Damn I got a real talent. And it's being wasted in here. Includes a lot of different talents that people don't realize they have till their little older and sober.
Powerful and Stunning....So many of us have lived in that lifestyle and didn't get caught. Just hearing what you Guys went through in prison and lived to talk about it let's me know that you all steps were ordered by God. I'm praying that yall message can save some of our young men and women from Hell.
* I can’t lie, if the judge slam his little hammer in court talking about “20 years minimum prison” I’m going to die inside. The toughest on Earth dude not trynna hear that. lol
You don't "have to" plead guilty to anything. You can take your case to trial. Of course, that's a risk, but you don't have to plead guilty to anything.
DJ, I would like to buy a print copy of your book but it's listed for $877 on the Amazon app and $100 on the website. Somewhere else to actually purchase this?

Damn. Real shit here. When DJ talked about how watching your mom gets old, that’s scary. Definitely makes you think He still looks young as hell.
I already said on one of this dudes videos that he would be a great narrator
Could you imagine what it would be like to go to jail when your sisters are 8 and 10 and you get out and they’re married with kids? That is next level crazy. It would be so Fkn weird
Dude in black shirt would be an awesome story teller
He IS an awesome story teller. I'm curious to read his book
He should do spoken word. He not only has great stories, his cadence and voice are impressive.
He is literally telling a story
Wow dude is on point 💪🏿 I use to go to my dad with problems and all he would say was so what you gonna do then I figured it out 😎💪🏿
Thanks for sharing ghost. Keeping fighting the good fight brother.
These insights (I refuse to call them stories as they are not) are incredible. Wisdom drips from every word.
Probably best interviews yet
