Even though Gretel and Hansel aren’t the nicest people I still really do feel bad for them their mother was killed by a crazy woman who believed their mother was a bear and then were abandoned by eve and Adam and were separated by prim and Irina which led to Gretel becoming ney who was horrifically, abused by prim
Honestly, despite the fact that they are evil the twins honestly have a pretty wholesome bond like in the fifth Pierrot novel she protected her brother getting sexually assaulted by the former seventh magician and killed her. Like she might be a evil and cruel servant of a demon but she does love her little brother even if she’s a bit mean to him, she still loves him and we stand actually good siblings in this house especially in evillious. Looking at you Lich!
Something I find so ironic about this version of Hansel and Gretel. Is that the original tale Hansel was the smart one and cunning one while in the evillious retelling of the tale Hansel is not that bright and is kind of dumb despite this fact, he still maintains the original Hansel love for his sister.
0:26 this is another reason why I hate Primm so much she separated Gretel from her twin and horrifically, abused and neglected her and never gave her a chance to have a relationship with her half siblings and how she treats, Kyle shows what an excellent parent she is if you can’t tell, I’m being sarcastic she crushed her own sons dreams and killed the girl he was in love with simply for revenge on people who didn’t even do her wrong
The more I think about Hansel and Gretel, the more I think that they were really victims of circumstance look I’m not trying to condone any of their actions I’m just saying is that They weren’t born evil. Let me explain Hansel and Gretel‘s mother Meta was brutally killed when they were just babies and they were kidnapped by a witch who believed the children were apples. Despite a rough beginning, things seem to be going up for a little while the witch and her husband decided to take in the children after the kidnapping and murder. And they were raised as Adam and Eve’s children but then the famine happened where Adam and his wife abandoned the two kidnapped children in the woods and practically left them for dead. While their backstory does not excuse their actions, it does gives you some perspective on why they are like the way they are in the present.
@@yourhighnessshanzay yeah in the despite being hers they are shown to to have at least some human empathy and do care for their loved ones heck, they even love each other! And in the punishment novel, it is shown the fact that just like Irina, Gretel while committing, her first murder, was crying and profusely saying sorry as she pushed her kidnapper into the oven. Implying that she wasn’t a full blown sociopath yet during this time. Just like Irina, she could feel regret and remorse for her killing but as seen in seven crimes and punishments she is terrible at apologizing and can’t make out a single apology without stopping because it isn’t in her “nature” and the fact that in the second sloth novel Lemy was a generally very normal child for the most part, until he got a taste of blood and was manipulated by his adoptive mom
@@yourhighnessshanzay I always felt like if Ney met Hansel she would feel like she met him before, and would instantly hug him with tears in her eyes, but she would not know why she is crying and so happy after their heartfelt reunion. Ney and Hansel would probably talk to each other and I think both kids would get a bit into a quarrel about Hansel killing his parents because during this time period Ney is still loyal to her mother and can’t comprehend why Hansel would do such a thing and Hansel would criticize her for being so loyal to a mother who treats her so poorly and would probably try to convince her to get rid of that abusive witch out of her life with his help, of course

yes the twins are too precious and too cute, Riliane is horrible and ruthless as young queen but she's still a child she can make bad decisions she's being forced for the throne because alexiel is gone
these two are the most realistic siblings in the series. tell me otherwise
You’re right. I love writing them, it’s always a blast.

Sometimes I dream there's an alternative universe where somehow Arth found her and she got to live happily with the twins
