20:50 It has been 7 years since BTS entered the top 10 of the hot100 and no other Korean group has even reached that, much less get a #1 😂 Some k pop groups have massive album sales bc the companies inflate sales numbers by giving albums 10+ versions and a bunch of random photocards, but the songs are no where in charts bc ppl aren’t streaming them and their fans aren’t big enough to make them chart, there’s no real demand for them. But the more K-pop labels have been signing deals with American labels the more these 2 corrupt industries are feeding off of each other and desperately trying to fake growth and achievements.
as always, real recognizes real. fake numbers can only get you so far when you have no real artistry and audience. bts already beat one corrupt industry, they'll continue to thrive in other corrupt industries, no matter what fraudulent tactics labels and other "artists" indulge in to rise up.
The og building where the mirrors where was a rented practice place I think, if not it was in the og building. That building is full of army writings on the outer wall, even though it doesnt belong to bighit anymore for a while now. Recently this year it has been bought by a korean actor. Jurn, did you know that bts is now the most awarded artist in the world? Like ever in history? They have over 1400 awards as of now. The past couple of years, they were at the 4th spot of the most awarded artists, but now they even surpass Micheal jackson and beyonce! I am so incredibly proud of the boys 💜

however he did get a number 1 on the billboard hot 100 but with a song from his previous album FACE. So it's Jimin and Jungkook who was the second so no shade on Jungkook either. So the 8 number 1's on the billboard hot 100 are all from BTS 6 as the group and 2 as from 2 of the solo members.

You should react to Roll Up by Blackswan. They are a kpop group with the first african and first indian memeber they have no koreans. They just had a comeback, Roll Up as their title track for the EP.
correct me if im wrong, but i thought there was a member in the previous lineup that was the first african idol. their group didn't see much success i think, the members changed and they essentially re-branded, so i guess she's the 2nd. idk if the first group was already called blackswan back then tho.

I wish them best but they are active like 6 years now? and they were on billboard hot 100 3 times and only one they made to half line, 48 place is still long way to go especially now when the rules are harder and harder not to say a lot of new groups coming and really pushing for charts, so yeah I wish them all good but I wouldn't say they are coming up fast, there are actually few girl groups that are new and have been more on this chart... but chart aren't everything I knew we push BTS songs on them but we also know this, we do it bc it is to show support mostly bc it is one of ways to say we are here and listen. but it really become hard thing, bc of sll the walls we meet.
