Had c-section and had tubal. Would highly recommended the man getting fixed still! Messed up periods. Got cyst on ovaries, ended up having to get on birth control. Horrible I do horrible on it!! Gained so much weight. Much harder to lose. Thyroid issues ect. People say it don’t effect you but it does. Not every person is the same. Less complications for men. More women need to talk about how it affected them.

This is horrible but when my kids became teenagers they asked me what I want for mothers day and I told them to leave me alone. They will call me, text me or drop by flowers and leave me alone. I love it! My husband gets me a hanging basket of flowers. I had three children third trimester until delivery had a stuffy nose where I couldn't breath through my nose.
Love your answer about being "fixed." I always find myself being jealous of larger families. My body did not like being pregnant and if it's generally true that each baby is bigger (I know, not really, but sort of) then a 2 week early 10 lb baby was my limit. 😆
I totally understand about knowing you're done but still being sad. I had a a C-section with my last one (number 6) at 39, and got my tubes tied. I still grieved for a year knowing I was done. It had been such a part of my life for so long. Congratulations!

My MIL lives an hour away and always expects us to pack up the kids and go visit her. Which would just make my day busier and more chaotic. My husband and kids want to spend the day with me. We did invite her to come visit since she only has to pack up and manage herself to drive an hour to us and she’s more than welcome to visit. She doesn’t want to drive. 🤷🏻♀️ so I guess she’s spending the day alone. My husband agrees. I got a new shed this year so that we have more room for my seasonal decor along with his fishing stuff and tools. And I’ll probably plant some flowers on Mother’s Day with the kids. Later in the week we’re going out to eat because it will be our 8th wedding anniversary (but we’ve been a couple for 18 years). Hope you have a lovely Mother’s Day! ❤
We do a family dinner later in the day and include any family that wants to be there. My husband only has his mom left in his family, the rest have died. So, she comes to our family dinners for any and all holidays. My family is great at including her in everything.

I can’t believe you guys have been in Florida for two years now 😮Seems crazy fast! For mom’s day this year my youngest son and I will be working with Samaritan’s Purse in the morning and traveling back home in the afternoon. There were some bad storms west of us about 31/2 hours away. I don’t like to cook that much so I really ask my family for the day off from cooking on Mother’s Day😊

I always prepared a beautiful meal for my mother (and mother in law) and our family when she was alive. Since her passing, my daughters take turns and do the same for me. I prefer to have family meals in our home instead of eating out on Mother’s Day. 👍

Mothers Day was low key- I binged watched a lot of YT channels, had prepped our meal for the day as hubby was in a sling from rotator cuff repair surgery a few days before Mothers Day and he couldn’t cook like he usually does. Texts and calls from our children and grandchildren. Just a relaxing day. I am glad you found the fun in the “getting fixed” question! I, too, “got fixed” with our last child as it too was a planned repeat c-section, otherwise, hubby would have gotten snipped or I would have kept popping out babies until he did as I was a fertile Myrtle, but the c-section saved him! LOL! The one thing I dislike is when people as “you’re stopping at this kid right?” Or, “don’t you think that is enough kids?” Nope, people do t have the right to ask those sorts of questions because it’s really not their business, having children within a monogamous and devoted marriage is a discussion just between the husband and wife, not strangers and not even family. When we adopted out late cat Ellie, it took her about a month before she came out from the guest room and then that was on a sneaky basis. We adopted her at about 3 years old due to her previous owner moving and unable to take her with him, then the fact we have 2 Labs and she had never been exposed to dogs before. By the end of the 3rd month, she owned the house and the dogs watched her with one eye open after she taught them who was boss! 😅, after the first year with us, she was sleeping with the dogs in their dog beds or she would take over one of the beds and one dog was out a bed until she deigned to move. Freya just makes me laugh with her antics- whether it’s trying to help daddy build something and then start dancing around the yard in her tool belt or riding her paw patrol pet! Thanks for another energy filled video!

👍🏻. I had my tubes tied when I was in my 20’s I had 2 boys close together and we lived away from family. I had female issues and was having a procedure so it was the perfect time to do it. It was such a hard decision. I literally made the decision to do it on the drive to the hospital.
I live in Sweden and we celebrate mothers day in late may. I usually get a gift and we have fika (coffee and baked goods) at my MILs house. I’m usually the one to get my MIL her gift because honestly we’re really good friends and I know what she would like (usually plants, last year we got her a yellow magnolia bush/ tree). I actually buy myself and my MIL plants for mothers day at the same time, when I’m going to the garden center anyway 😉

We usually go to eat somewhere and I get gifts of hanging baskets or gift cards and candles or maybe a garden flag. I always get my daughter gifts too. This year I got her a”Blessed Mama hat”🧢 and a shirt that says Mama. And a garden flag a really pretty cup and a gift card to Ulta. I’m 42 with 4 kids, ages: 20yo, 18yo, 16yo, and 15 yo. My husband has always made sure to celebrate me on Mother’s Day, it was never a question in our home. This year, we’ve decided to celebrate Parent’s Day instead, as Father’s Day gets lost due to our wedding anniversary and the end of year school activities- so, no Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, just a combination of the two being celebrated this coming Sunday. We’re both really chill, and are mostly just happy to spend the day with our family, so no big extravaganzas either.

In our family ALL females get together we spend the day weather permitting in the park (due to children being with us) having a picnic that the males have prepared. In the early evening the grown up females go out to dinner. we all meet up later that evening we have a great time. On Fathers the males do what we have done, my parents started doing this many moons ago the group keeps growing wouldn't want it anyother way.
Random thought - can you move your washer and dryer doors to open the other way so that they don’t open into the room but open to the wall instead? Some allow for that. Might help with space.

a parenting tip: not just praising the kids that they did a good job/you are proud of them but also say aren't YOU proud of yourself for such n such accomplishment/big kid etc.. so its internal motivation ( I forget what it was called) was a today's yrs old moment at the time, lol. One weeks late… 10 lbs 23”. 😅 Swedish genes. Men are all over 6’. Uncle 6’8”. Son now 6’5”

You were right. I started small, one birthday. I got bulk cleaning rags. And a few other things. The next holiday Christmas was all cleaning tools. I was like a cat with an empty box. 😂 That's all I needed! Happy camper! Thank Hon!

👍🏻. I had my tubes tied when I was in my 20’s I had 2 boys close together and we lived away from family. I had female issues and was having a procedure so it was the perfect time to do it. It was such a hard decision. I literally made the decision to do it on the drive to the hospital.

I live in Sweden and we celebrate mothers day in late may. I usually get a gift and we have fika (coffee and baked goods) at my MILs house. I’m usually the one to get my MIL her gift because honestly we’re really good friends and I know what she would like (usually plants, last year we got her a yellow magnolia bush/ tree). I actually buy myself and my MIL plants for mothers day at the same time, when I’m going to the garden center anyway 😉

Really loved the video Cambria. I like inside and outside cleaning. You make all the cleaning look easy. I’m a mother of two grown kids now and I have 2 grandchildren. We usually go to eat somewhere and I get gifts of hanging baskets or gift cards and candles or maybe a garden flag. I always get my daughter gifts too. This year I got her a”Blessed Mama hat”🧢 and a shirt that says Mama. And a garden flag a really pretty cup and a gift card to Ulta. I’m 42 with 4 kids, ages: 20yo, 18yo, 16yo, and 15 yo. My husband has always made sure to celebrate me on Mother’s Day, it was never a question in our home. This year, we’ve decided to celebrate Parent’s Day instead, as Father’s Day gets lost due to our wedding anniversary and the end of year school activities- so, no Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, just a combination of the two being celebrated this coming Sunday. We’re both really chill, and are mostly just happy to spend the day with our family, so no big extravaganzas either.

In our family ALL females get together we spend the day weather permitting in the park (due to children being with us) having a picnic that the males have prepared. In the early evening the grown up females go out to dinner. we all meet up later that evening we have a great time. On Fathers the males do what we have done, my parents started doing this many moons ago the group keeps growing wouldn't want it anyother way.
Random thought - can you move your washer and dryer doors to open the other way so that they don’t open into the room but open to the wall instead? Some allow for that. Might help with space.

a parenting tip: not just praising the kids that they did a good job/you are proud of them but also say aren't YOU proud of yourself for such n such accomplishment/big kid etc.. so its internal motivation ( I forget what it was called) was a today's yrs old moment at the time, lol.
