In the middle of a freezing ice-storm here on the prairie in Colorado USA, and for God’s sake, your sausage-and-mash looks like a perfectly comforting cold-winter’s-day dinner. As it is, I have a pack full of elk sausage in the freezer, and potatoes and carrots in the basement pantry. You have inspired me, Dear Lady !!! Just watching this in front of my coal fire, it is getting chilly! I was laughing because my 3 daughters, after 2 to 3 decades, told me they prefered their Dads mash coz it had lumps in it! I was fuming lol xxx

Mmm, I love me a nice, smooth, creamy mash 😋 And I love my OXO masher 😊 I always use extra good, yummy sausages for bangers n mash, because they are the star of the show. I love onions, but Mr. Aliance doesn't, and I don't mind my gravey either way, so I do the maggi powder gravey, and always peas and carrots 😋 ooh, I'm going to make it tonight!
I just bought an 8-quart (small) stock pot today that seems to be nice and thick on the bottom and well-made, so now I can make mashed potatoes, ham and bean soup, etc. It's difficult to find good pans that are affordable here. There's either affordable trash that's ruined in under a year or super-expensive trash that's ruined in under a year.
