TAKE NOTE, THE INSTRUMENTAL USED IN THIS NEW VERSION IS ALREADY DIFFERENT. Soooooo, 3 months ago the owner of the PREVIOUS INSTRUMENTAL (the only instrumental available on youtube lol) that I used in the video took down my video which resulted in a “copyright strike” in my channel. If you guys don’t know what that means, copyright strikes are issued when RUclips remove Content because a copyright owner sent them a complete and valid legal request asking them to do so(it’s different from copyright claim, which means revenue from ads are going towards the copyright owner like the composers, etc. ). And I take full responsibility for that mistake as I wasn’t able to ask permission if I could use it. I did contact the owner after getting the strike to settle it if they wanted to, but I never got a response. I would’ve understood if they were able to contact me first BUT they went to YT directly sooooo, I had no choice. Also, note that I was not earning any revenue for using their instrumental as this video also has a copyright claim since I’m using the actual audio from the OBCR. And so now, have to compromise and get another instrumental to replace it and so glad I found one. And a copyright strike expires after 3 months and since it just expired yesterday, I’m celebrating by uploading a new and better version for everyone to enjoy! That’s it. Thanks for reading my tedtalk! lol. 😅
P.s. Had a really bad week after getting that strike and so demotivated, but I figured YOLO so I continued to create more. And if my channel will be terminated because of copyright… it was fun while it lasted. 🤣
