    Hey, so this is my best friend. We went to Skyline elementary school, I went to kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade with him up until he went missing. There is a LOT of information missing in this video. For one, the science fair was only for the 2nd grade, because the entirety of the 2nd grade was down one hallway, we were all split intro groups, groups that would go into different classrooms, look at the other student’s science projects and move on. It fails to mention that there were a lot of parents going in and out of the building at the time which would’ve been the time to inevitably abduct a child. Kyron was absolutely targeted because he is timid, small, and quiet. Even though he was marked absent, it was REALLY FUCKING COMMON for him not to say anything during attendance and get marked absent. Surveillance wasn’t a thing in the school either, as unfortunate as it was, the best security they had at the school at the time were locking the doors.
    My name is Madison Zimmerman, I’ve been in the news talking about him, I’ve commented on many other videos about him, because I have close ties to his family, was there in his class and don’t want any misunderstanding regarding his case. Any further questions, please ask, I’m more than willing to provide as much information as I know.

  • @pandap4ntz

    Why was no one notified that a young child was marked absent from his class? I couldn't even sneak out of one class as a senior in high school w/o my parents being notified immediately. Big mess up by the school, they coulda had this case solved, or maybe prevented him from going missing, had they used a reliable system to track absent students whereabouts. It makes me wonder if the school was negligent, or if Kyron's abductor had something to do with why the school didn't notify a parent...?

    • @octaviamelody1997
      @octaviamelody1997 Год назад +5

      I'm honestly just as confused. When i was a student, even the senior kids who were 18 had to have the school call parents and get parental permission for a student to sign themselves out early. Not to mention if the parwnt wasnt listed as a guardian, they got ID checked everytime they'd pick us up. For example, my dad would have to show his ID to get me but not my brother since my grandfather had custody over me and was listed as my primary guardian. On the other hand, dad was my brother's guardian so my grandpa had to show his ID to grab my brother. Even after years when they recognized us and pur family, if they weren't listed as a guardian, they had to check. This kind of thing wouldn't happen because the district was strict about kids leaving the school property, so why in the hell weren't this poor kids parents notified immediately of his absence?

    I went down a rabbit hole on this case after watching this video the other night. I watched every interview with Terri Horman that I could find, and man oh man, if she's not guilty, she's done everything in her power to make herself look guilty. Her body language, her rambling answers to simple questions, the way she tries to act like she was Kyron's real mom and the only one who truly cared about him, her constantly changing stories, etc... After ruminating on all this info, I just cannot believe that she's not in prison. It's been 13yrs! She's walked free for 13yrs! Kyron's mom, Desiree, said that prosecuters were ready to pursue Terri until the Casey Anthony trial happened, and Desiree said that trial changed the way prosecutors handle cases like Kyron's. I wish I understood that comment better, if anyone can shed some light on what exactly is different now, I would appreciate understanding it better. It just seems like such a massively huge injustice for Terri to be free. I think of all the people who have been locked away with far less evidence, and I just don't understand why the cops won't arrest her.

I have seen the billboards with his face, watched the interviews, and listened to his family's pleas, since the beginning and it never gets easier. And I don't even know them personally. I cannot imagine the weight it is on the family if it hits me this hard. Thank you for sharing, the more people that know his name and see his face the more chance their is of finally finding him and regardless of his face, putting this mystery to rest

    If you have ever seen the stepmom speak you can see she certainly wasn't bright enough to pull this off without a shred of evidence left behind.
    I lived in Portland during this and I'm very familiar with the area. It is a upper income somewhat rural area.
    The school backed up into a heavily wooded area, many areas of the school was not covered by CTV cameras, the school failed to notice nor report his absence all day.
    The Science fair was a open house, no sign in sheet, no one at the door checking who was coming or going.
    Anyone could have entered that school, looking like a parent.
    She is perhaps the most hated women in Oregon, if there had been 1 shred of evidence the grand jury would have indicated her. The cops were so busy trying to frame her for hiring a hitman to kill her husband ( which later all was dropped) that only let more valuable time go by. Could she be guilty?
    Sure, did she have a motive? They say she did.
    But it's my opinion that this is another case of TUNNEL VISION by the authorities who refused to look at any other suspect, while valuable time and evidence was lost.

    a noteable aspect of this case that you wouldnt know if you didnt live in the area is that his school was somewhat isolated. it was in portland, but on a road called germantown that winds up into the hills that surround the city. imagine the school slightly elevated with the road surrounding it, and the road is surrounded by the forest. this area is very dense and steep and down the road leads to a semi hidden trailhead to the Wildwood Trail. The Wildwood goes for 30+ miles from portland city to the oregon zoo and all throughout is just steep, thick, cold woods. idk if even the first few miles were searched, but having hiked a few miles of the Wildwood the possibilty of Kyron being forgotton out there for over a decade is always on my mind. i went to a vigil for him with my mom when i was little and im always thinking about him

If somebody wanted someone to disappear in that town, then I imagine the woods would be the perfect place to do it

    People who have never been to NW Oregon have no idea what the wilderness is like here. Our Nature area's, forest's are so dense, vast, it's so easy for people to disappear, get lost, hide secrets. It's beautiful yet eerie all at the very same time. Growing up here, you can learn how to navigate it, how to respect the vastness of Nature. (It really bothers me how crappy people manipulate the wilderness here as a place to hide their dark secrets.) John Ackroyd took full advantage of the forest's here. This case seems pretty clear that it was a family member rather than some crazy 3rd party killer... I hope they can find where someone put him.. it's the worst never learning where they are... It's so unfair for that to happen to anyone. That's the worst punishment in my opinion. I wouldn't have peace if someone was caught and charged but if I still never learned where the remains of my loved one was... I would be so broken.
