My family name is Davis. My mother is wheelock which were from Wheelock Chester England in the time of Henry II. Whelok is a celtic word for winding river. I have Rogers in my family tree on my mother's side which is right next to Shropshire. This is starting to get interesting.
Have a huge and very tangled family tree from Wales courtesy of my paternal grandmother whose dad immigrated to Canada. He was a Whettel (sometimes called Whittel). His mother was a LLOYD. There are so many John Lloyd's I get a headache. Any help would be most appreciated. I am in Canada and do not have any experience with FindMyPast.
