@Useful Things there is websites dedicated only to arcade games and arcade motherbords. You should ask your question there in their forums as well, or in their comment section or sent a email to the website manager. Good luck!
To solve this kind of problem, I download the snap pack for mameui and the file that allow you to filter by specific genre. Then I go to the genre of the game I am thinking about and look at the picture of all games of this genre to find the one I am looking for.
In fact im looking for an arcade/mame game which i forgot what the name is, it is about a small blue ninja throwing shuriken (one of the characters) and suddenly being chased by grim reaper or some kind, do you guys have any guess?
Thanks. After 25+ years, I finally found most of the obscure arcade games that I used to play as a kid and teen in the late 80s- 90s, and whose name I had completely forgotten, such as: Blood Bros, E-SWAT - Cyber Police, FixEight and Jumping Pop! And I even re-discovered games I had almost completely forgotten about, even though I spent many coins on them, such as G.I. and Billiard Academy Real Break!!
Thank you for posting this! I thought I was asking too much searching for ALL mame games. Just could be a little better, with say games broken up by genre, to help you find the game you're looking for faster
Can you help me find a beat'em up games (which I'm not sure it a SNES game or maybe other platforms) that have 4-5 characters, include a green ninja (special skill is turning into a log, like ninja's substitution skill and kill enemies), a red commando (special skill is smoking a pipe that shoot bullet / bomb) and a fighter (special skill is punching super fast and finish with a upper-cut). Many thanks!!!!
I was looking for a game - that turned out to be the uninspiringly-named Space Bomber But I ended up watching both videos (OK at 2x with a lot of 5 second skipping) and made a personal list of must-haves. Hello! thanks for your videos; im looking for help about 3 games, im looking for their title since YEARS: the first one is the style of "1942" with nice colors and details but there was no technology, but i remember chinese buildings and temples and a lot of chinese dragons (years around 1987/89) - the second one was similar to rastan but in a big city and there was one guy fighting with a graffiti spray, he could move on 2 levels: the street and the sewers (both were visible) i had this game on my Commodore 128 (the year was around 1986/1988) - the third one was for atari i think and it was around 1985 with a small egiptian guy moving on different levels with lot of traps and elevators. I hope you can help me, thanks!
Ok so there's this game that you are someone fighting some enemies and moving only towards your mission is to find some keys and when the game is about to end you rescue some hanged up people you choose who you want to save depending also on how many keys you have collected by the end the people you save is probably somewhat your family and when you exit the escape door and finish the game there are shadows with these people those who you saved become normal the ones you didn't stay as shadows İ really wanna know it's name
If I may, A good handful of these games were non-traditional games and may have been in limited release. I never saw any of those in arcades. Many others were clones of other games, so there were a lot of duplicates. The length of this video was too much for us to watch in a single viewing. Thank you.
Hello guys, I was wondering if someone here could help me to find an old Arcade game. I played it in the late 80's It was a platform / side scroller / side view/ 2D. It was an action game and the main character was holding a shield, and he could move it in any direction to protect himself from arrows (or maybe shurikens) As I recall, the game was very dark and the shield was round shaped. The first stage was like a cave or a dungeon and the predominant color was purple (or grey). The main character size was similar to Ghoul's and Ghosts, but I don't think it was human. There was no throwing sword, it was a shield instead. People hated the game 'cause it was very difficult... Observation: It is NOT -> Black Tiger, Rastan, Rygar, Gladiator, Nastar Warrior, Wizard Fire, The tower of Druaga, Magic Sword, Gauntlet, Trojan, Dragon Unit, The Lost Vikings Thank you for your help !
Head up for those new to these "All Games" videos, none of them includes every game available for said systems. There are always significant amount of games missing from the list. They are still great way to discover some unknown games but should never be used as a reference for completion.
I wasn’t talking about clones or bootlegs. Check comment section in his other “all games” videos and you will see people pointing out some missing well-known games.
trying to find a game from many years. It was like pac-man eating dots. Egg outside border.... i dont know how to explain but if anyone got it then please give me the name of that game
How would I have ever found '96 Flag Rally without this video? A blatant ripoff of Rally X with scantily clad anime girls. The girl who appears when you die is covered in blood with fire in the background for some reason. And there's a dancing blue cat above the map pane.
Maybe there's a plan for a Sega NAOMI arcade hardware video, similar to the most recent released video featuring the Sega Model 3 hardware. *shrug* I don't know. :-(

So, nothing?

17 hours of learning, 17 hours of amazing grace. Thanks for this effort.
this video is very very very important, why? people remember a game to play but sometimes no name and it gives a permanent headache
the only drawback is the videos lenght, about 17 hours long both parts.

You said this comment already. @Muhammad
The videos are super cool. It's a shame they are only 480p.
OwtDaftUK These games are 480p at best, useless to have more resolution.
The higher the resolution of the video the less video compression artefacts you see.
omg almost 9 hours... is this for real. too many arcade games out thereeee
Fun fact: 10-Yard Fight for the NES is flawed unlike the arcade.
You can run diagonally and dodge every tackle all the way to the touchdown.
Just one more video before bed..
That one game was the shit when I was growing up, though.
Imagine being such a 90s kid that you play horse shoes at the arcade

Love these collections, but... Wish the arcade videos displayed the name of the actual zipped file for MAME.
