Today, It's my birthday ! On this special day I decided to make this very important video to my heart. I have decided to make a video about Twelfth Doctor. Doctor who is one of the show with what I have started my channel, It's the origin of my channel.
The show changed, and I changed too. I'm saying goodbye to this wonderful show, I believe this new Doctor, Jodie could have been fantastic but the writing is not what I expected and I no longer enjoy it.
Thank you for all the beautiful memories, Peter Capaldi. You are such a fantastic actor and you helped me going through very hard times, and now, I let you go.

Yes, I don't enjoy it too. Actually, i hate it. I hate Ryan, Yaz, new intro and soundtrack. They are all awful. I don't like very much Jodie, too. But i keep watching, because of just a spark of hope, maybe… maybe it will be good, not awesome, not magnificent, just good. It's a 55 year old show, and i am not gonna give up that easy.
I will never give it up, one day, Chibnall will leave aswell.
I feel your pain, I don't like the new writing for the show as well. In fact I hate it. I felt so down watching the new season. And now after watching your brilliant tribute I suddenly want to rewatch Capaldi's era and feel alive again, feel that vast range of emotions again! Thank you for bringing back those wonderful memories. And I hope the show will find it's way back to us... someday.
I feel like he when he was good he was rlly good, RTD had the advantage of having the doctor recovering from the time war in his PTSD arc with Tennant but especially Ecelston. While Moffat carried that through to Matt smith he couldn’t keep it forever so I thought that it was crazy that this doctor was so much older than the rest cuz of the trenzalor PTSD he gets over through out his run. The story of twelve feels like him recovering from trauma to me.

I have not seen Doctor Who but i do plan on watching it as soon as i am done watching Supernatural. And i don't want any spoilers so i have to skip this one. Amazing, my life goal is to make quality films to inspire people like doctor who. My first one is on this channel, been planning my series for 11 years, hope people enjoy it so far gotten insane ratings.
Capaldi was sooo good... not even Tennent had that much character development, he is the most underrated doctor of all time. Like the ninth would say... he was fantastic :c

C'est magnifique, ça m'a mis la larme à l’œil ! Je dois avouer que je suis une grande fan de 12. C'était avec une vidéo de DW que j'avais découverte ta chaîne il y a 2 ans. Il y a une belle évolution. Continue surtout à faire tes vidéos avec ton cœur et ta passion, c'est du bon travail :)
P.S: Pour ce qui est de la nouvelle saison de DW, malheureusement Jodie a un énorme potentiel mais elle noyée par des companions qui sont (je trouve) trop nombreux et elle est desservie par l'écriture des épisodes.

Thank you for making this video, today i finished rewatching all of doctor who seasons 1-10 on netflix and finally after seeing this video, the show feels complete to me. i no longer have a true desire to watch the jodie episodes. 1-10 will hold a special place to me, but i think it’s time i stop trying to look for something good in the jodie era. This video has helped me finally let doctor who go. thank you, you are amazing ❤️

On your point about the new series of DW.
I do recommend giving the next series a chance as
A. Chibnal and the new standout lead writers from S11 have more experience
B. Chibnal will actually be able to develop the series in time to his preferences (he hates doing yearly season shows, and prefers longer-dev times)
C. More time to help overall
Right now DW is in a transitional era, and this is more noticeable sense, not only Chibnal not being as experienced writing for DW as Moffat was during Davies' run, but him also looking to change DW in general and seeing how those changes work.
And if that doesn't entice you, I can say that Chibnal and (sadly) Jodie may leave after next season, or the one after that as
1. Chibnal was asked before to lead DW, and said no
2. The guys who got Matt's Departure season right are saying that Next season may be Chibnal's departure (likely because he wanted to give the BBC time to get a guy who actually wants the position)
3. The Aforementioned time of development issues
4. The overall feeling of "Let's see if this works" mentality of S11, leading to the idea that this a testing era for what works when a new showrunner comes in.
But Jodie is the best part of Chibnal Who, and I will miss her when she does leave.

are you mad? bradely Walsh is defo the best part of the series. Jodie was honestly a knock off tennant/Smith trying to copy actors better fitting for the role. I mean chris Tennant, Smith and capaldi all brought so much new to the show, but Jodie. NADA.

and it just depends on what type of Doctor that the lead showrunner wants at that time.
A guy who has a dark past but under that is a heart of gold: We got Ecelston
A guy who has to still contend with that past, but is younger and has grown because of the experiences of his past incarnation?: We got Tennant
A guy who out of all the guilt of his previous incarnation, decides to suppress it under a goofy-exterior. : We got Matt
A guy who is older and doesn't know if they are good out of fear of a future incarnation of themselves, but grows to be as kind as his previous selves: We got Capaldi.
And for this series, Chibnal likely wanted
A girl who has forgiven themselves of their past actions and who is willing to have a fresh start: That gave us Whittaker.
That characteristic is what Matt and Tennant's Doctors were externally showing over their internal turmoil about Gallifrey and Matt's knowledge of his (at the time) last life.
It's just that Jodie's doctor has seemingly let go a lot of the self-guilt that she had in her previous incarnations.
honestly i hate this new series. only good thing about this is bradely walsh. Jodie is ok i mean she has potential atleast i think she does but the stuff she has to work with is just shit.
Lets take rosa for example, it was a good episode but was not a DW episode more like a TIMELESS episode. and Doctor is pretty useless this season. She is so dependent on the companions that it feels more like there show rather then doctors.
Doctor was suppose to be a role model for humanity to look up to and he was there to defend humanity not to rely on her so called FAM and extended fam.

I’ve never watched Doctor Who. Is Series 8 a good place to start if I just want to see Peter Capaldi?
Well it's always kind of hard to keep up at that point, but I understand you maybe don't want to start at season one.
my advice, start at season 5, with Matt Smith. That way, you won't be that lost with all the references and not to fare from where the serie is now ;)
Also, Matt Smith is one of the best
If you want a good starting point, without having to wait too long for Capaldi, yes, start at series 5. But if you want to understand all references and Easter eggs etc, start at series 1.
If you don’t care and just want it for Capaldi’s outstanding performance, yeah, start at series 8.

Its sad when you think how much pain the Doctor has, how much rage and grief, all of it...and yet he still manages to be kind, with no reward or recognition or even hope at times, he still chooses to help wherever he can. He truly is a hero...he is my hero.
