The only video that I have seen on the Paris Agreement that is easy to understand. Thank you so much, it helped so much with my schoolwork, and please keep it up!
I love it! Is this video also under a creative commons license ? I would like to use a very short excerpt (with due attribution of course) in one of my videos ! Thanks
@@CICEROklima Here is the final video : ruclips.net/video/YVtW5d94KN0/видео.html I am using short excerpts of your two wonderful animated videos at the beginning of each chapters of my video on the history of climate negociations. Thanks a lot for your work ! :)
Except it really isn't complete. Yes, many countries agreed but agreement and actually doing are not the same thing. Notice, this video doesn't talk at all about whether countries are keeping their word or meeting the goals of the agreement. The fact is that they are not. The Paris Agreement is largely virtue signaling. The U.S. pulled out not because we don't believe that climate change is important but because we weren't going to lie about achieving a goal that was not going to happen. The 3 countries contributing the most to the climate issue are China (by a wide margin), the U.S. and Russia. The U.S. is currently rated higher (Insufficient) than China (Highly Insufficient) and Russia (Critically Insufficient). People, don't be ignorant. Just because countries agree to something doesn't mean anything until they actually do something. Look at NATO, almost every country is not contributing the money that they agreed to when joining NATO.
China is the world's factory, and so you can't expect them to cut emissions while also enjoying almost any product you consume in the US. It's like a prince telling a soldier to go murder someone, then blaming the soldier for the deed when people get angry. Also, the US emits far more emissions than China per capita. Maybe don't spew nationalist ignorance while calling others ignorant.
