Is this "Dark World" an entirely different map from Hyrule or just smaller loading areas?
The rifts maybe the equivalent of shrines/ dungeons?
I think the rifts will be broken areas you can explore. Not a whole world like the "dark world or depths".

Maybe separated area at first and after a while you find an item that let you travel between them and open new areas? Like a helmet that help you breethe in the thick smoke or smth.

Not realistic but I would really like it if this is the first part of a series of 3 games, one about every piece of the triforce and it's wielder. Would mean a ganon game
Already played throigh ALTTP and now im halfway thru ALBW in preparation of EoW. Side note: ALBW has the best dungeon design in all 2d zelda games.
We need another trailer of this game before it releases. Its fun to see lore creators pick them apart and give their opinions.
Given lore, I wonder if Tri is a sentient conscience of the Triforce itself. If so thats the second time in the series.

I would hope that it's another new full map, much like the depths in tears of the Kingdom
Just going off past top-down Zelda games. I believe they'll have some sort of alternate dimension. It's a staple of Nintendo.

Do the rifts in Echoes of Wisdom not remind anyone of the rifts in the Temple of Souls in Hyrule Warriors? I wonder if we'll see Dark Link in this game?

When I first played lttp I thought after beating the wizard in the light world I was beating the game, and was shocked when there was a whole other world with even more dungeons. My mind was blown. Now is sort of a common part of Zelda games.

I'm looking at it and the rifts seem more similar to the Twighlight than any other alternate world. And if so could disrupt the currently accepted timeline.
The file size is barely bigger than that of Link's Awakening, I wouldn't expect a large "dark world."
Going from Botw/Totk to Echoes is quite a change. I'm a lil worried about the gameplay. Hopefully it's good though.

Haven't you heard that the entire Echoes of Wisdom reveal, the GUI, the gameplay, everything is a Red herring. Alll of this speculation is over a game that doesn't and never will exisit. The new game is NOTHING like this. The reveal was just to throw people off the scent.

Addressing a no playable Zelda? What? Who wanted a playable Zelda in a mainline 3d LoZ game? Like fr? Link is the protagonist and the hero and always will be. This is cool that Zelda is getting a game and all and I’m gonna buy it but who’s asking for her to be a playable character in BotW or TotK? Not me that’s for sure. Lol
In the distant past, where Link wasn't. Would have added to the storytelling of that game (TotK)

this game look like kiddy GARBAGE... Astro bot will outsell it ten fold and once GTA 6 drop next year its a wrap sony win generation... Switch is dead the PS5 is where it's at!
