I wasnt going to watch, but i like her personality. Very down to earth. The comment about the servers says alot about her. Very kind person. Cant wait to watch her season.
I never thought I would watch the bachelor again it’s the exact same show over and over and over but with an older woman… I’m definitely watching it! Can’t wait!
Yeah same. The older crew is more exciting to watch for me. They have so much more depth, kindness, character, personality & experience. I'm 41 & definitely cannot relate to the regular Bachelor/Bachelorette. They don't have enough experience usually & not enough depth.
I really like her. She's a great catch. In the last season she came off as very kind, gracious and classy.. Perfect Golden Bachelorette pick.
Finally someone that has a balanced personality, that knows it's not about her. Wowza. Looking forward to Joan.
Joan = class
90% of the women they chose for Golden Bachelor are not the typical 55+. These women seem to have big money, plastic surgery, expensive clothes and nice homes. They are very independent and don't see them giving that up for someone with less, or an equal, to clean and cook for. Let's face it, majority of men, whether widowed or divorced, get married again where most women don't.
Agree, Joan is plastics enhanced, Theresa was the same...None of the women will relocate for a beau, too set in their ways.
I really don't see what it is that the franchise is trying to portray with the geriatrics?
That they can score a bed partner at their age?...not very hard is it, with 25 contenders! and that is all it will be.
I can already tell that she's self absorbed. I predicted that Gerry was a creep and was right.
These shows only show people who are on their best behavior.
I predict that the guy she picks will break up with her. She's high maintenance. No man wants that.
Gerry might have some unsavory dating history, but Theresa was all in with shoes on..She was so eager to awaken those dried up ovaries, and get laid so she lied and said yes to everything the dude was looking for in a partner..Even if she had been clued in about his ex, Theresa Nist the liar would still have climbed into that fantasy suite bed..😂
Joan sounds like a snob, but let's see how the season unfolds.

I was initially disappointed that they went back to the original cast, I was hoping they would find someone new, however Joan is a wonderful surprise! I'm excited for her season, she's going to do great, and will find love! I mean, who wouldn't love her!

I will never get used to a frozen face like that, or understand why people find that attractive, but to each their own. If she likes how she looks that’s the most important thing, but would’ve been nice for GB producers to choose a naturally beautiful older woman looking for love - there are so many.
