Wait Does The Wii U Pro Controller Have Bluetooth Connection
Yeah the regular wiimotes are too
No. It uses a proprietary connection method, which means that it only works with special adapter like the ones from 8BitDo or Mayflash.
However the Wiimotes use standard bluetooth connection and as such can be connected to a computer via bluetooth.
Not the Switch though. It only accepts Joy-Cons or Switch Pro Controllers.
The Wii U Pro controllers do use bluetooth. You can connect it to your computer just like any other bluetooth controller. I think what this guy is trying to talk about is input method/drivers. Some controllers may use the DirectInput driver, while others use may use XInput. The Wii U pros may need a different driver to recognize inputs.

(Edit): 99% of the time my mom plays Xbox but she also has a switch.
The 8bitdo doesnt work with xbox controllers because microsoft updated the controllers firmware so it can't connect to the adapter

real i had one myself when my ps4 broke and i got one for my switch and it worked perfectly

I had the 8bit do adapter and I only played Mario wonder with the Wii remote
