「ぞめき囃子」「阿波踊り」
I’m Japanese.
It ’s the music of my hometown.
My favorite music!
Thank you✨✨✨
Thank you for the comment! 🙂 I'm glad that you like the music!
That was awesome. I would really love to get a copy of the notation for this piece.
Fabulous job. I bought a shinobue just to play this song!😀
Thank you very much! 🙂 I'm using the notation from this book:

Let me know how you're getting on with your shinobue!
Thank you for this...I just bought Shinobue and want to play this.
I'm glad you like it! 🙏 I hope you'll enjoy your instrument!

そうです!🙂
cool!
Thanks so much! 🙂
Very nice composition.
Yes, I agree! 🙏 It's a traditional piece though; it's not my composition.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Teach us
It's on my list ... 🙂
It's very nice. I'd like to perform with this kind of shinobue level in our group :) By the way, this piece is called よしこの (Yoshikono), you can find it with the keywords "お囃子よしこの".
Thanks! You know the secret: Practice, practice, practice! 😉 Thanks for the tip about the name; I always wondered about that, because Awa Odori is really the name of the dane, right?
@@MarkusGuhe Yes, it is. Odori means "dance" (like, "Bon Odori"), and "Awa" can be translated by "fools". Yoshikono is one of the Awa pieces, but there is a lot more, of course. However, Yoshikono rythms are played in every groups. "Doko doko" on shime, "don don ga don" on oDaiko", etc, etc. If I'm correct, you're based in the UKs, but unfortunatly, there is only one Awa Dancer in London (i don't know her personnaly). if you want to learn more about Awa music and if you plan to go to Paris someday, I know a very very good shinobue player based in Paris,
Thanks for the information! Yes, I’m in Scotland (and Germany). I know there is Tsunagari in Paris. Are you referring to them?
@@MarkusGuhe In fact, I'm one of the members. I know the shinobue player because he played with us
Can you, by any chance teach us more about the flute? Like thoroughly.
You mean like tutorial videos on shinobue? In case you've not seen it yet, here's a general introduction: ruclips.net/video/h4SCbx6x_cw/видео.html. I'll probably make a few videos on shinobue when I can find the time ...
@@MarkusGuhe Good day! I think I asked the wrong question, I apologize for that. And, yes, I've watched the video about Shinobue Introduction. It was very helpful, however, what I really want to learn how to play this specific piece. The AwaOdori Festival music with the Shinobue flute. If it's not too much to ask, Teacher, I hope you have the time to teach us more about it. Thank you! 😊
Thanks, i'll keep that in mind. It's basically just a shichisan rhythm on the taiko and the melody is from a shinobue book.
@@MarkusGuhe where can i find the Shinobue-notes for the melody or get hold of a Shinobue Book where it might be in 🤔
@@TheObiwanDKchannel There’s a score in this book: 篠笛の吹き方と日本の名曲 上級 (Shinobue playing guide and melodies Vol.3) Many taiko stores will have it, or, as always, Mejiro in Tokyo is your friend: www.mejiro-japan.com/en/product/shinobue-playing-guide-and-melodies-vol3 Hope this helps!
Is awa odori always done on a 6 hon?
Good question - I'm actually not sure. I've seen it being played on 6-hon, but I'm not sure if there is a standard length that used for the festival. (It's not unlikely though, because there's often a big group playing shinobue, and they would of course have to use the same length ...)
@@MarkusGuhe Thank you so much for your input. 😊
@@Mittsume3 My pleasure! 🙏
Could you share score?
Sorry, the score is copyrighted (just the score, not the piece itself). I'm using the notation from this book:
www.mejiro-japan.com/en/product/Shinobue-playing-guide-and-melodies-vol.3-With-CD
@@MarkusGuhe thanks i will buy it! How about making new viedo for tutorial awa odori
@@teemo1832 Great! It's already on my very long list of video ideas. 😉
@@MarkusGuhe Ohh...
Sold Out...
Can those roland Taikos take a beating?
A katsugi-beating, yes, a nagado/odaio-beating, no. They're designed as katsugi/okedo, so bachi size (and playing force) is limited to about what you can use on an actual katsugi. I'm talking about the TAIKO-1 here: ruclips.net/video/bMWYMxODuGU/видео.html
@@MarkusGuhe I saw Hiro Hayashida use one, I think his Katsugi hits are as strong as regular nagado hits :O
@@JBeestonian Hehe, quite possible. The manual states explicitly to only use sofft katsugi bachi, and my impression is also that even though the pads are quite sturdy they're definitely not proper taiko skins. In the video I'm playing very softly though ...

I'm not sure why you feel the need to insult me, but in fact, no, I'm actually quite happy not the be Japanese.
