I think getting a rhythm is a great idea- I noticed using Raider's mechanics map that I often press left click before my edit key when trying to go fast. I think I'll practice it around 250 with the metronome, just to get the fingers in sync, then try to boost it to 350. I really strain trying to get 400, even with my mouse(right) hand so it's impressive to see you casually hitting 500.
if i use double edit binds then would i consider only the first edit key should go on each beat or does the edit go on one beat and then release go on the next ?
btw for anyone reading this before using the website try to press your edit bind then move your finger to one of your build binds so you can get what you actually can do in game

I moved to a place where i get 50 ping now, and by no means can triple/quad edit as fluently as i could with 30 ping. If my BPM was under the threshold (meaning it wouldn't make a difference because the server should be able to act faster than my fingers can) why is it that I can no longer do the things 20/30ping allowed me to do.
its mental vro, overcome it , what he said still applies , just slow down n work your way back to your old speed ... plus maybe your seeing fake ping numbers ,ping could b slightly higher
i used a speed building bpm video called Accelerating Metronome 60 - 400 BPM Build Drum Piano Speed to practice my freebuilding and editing and i would like to know which actions are client slide and server side like should i be timing the placement of builds to the metronome or just the first one and when you confirm an edit is there a minimum time until you can press the edit key again the reason it helped so much is because i switched to edit on release recently and the timing to release is messing me up
how would it work with edit on release off, im on 60 ping and i can press at 400 bpm so would i divide that by 2 or something to get my edits per second
I just went to check it out and figured it out I think. It only does that when both players are on the same team, so if one of you swaps to team 2 it'll work. I'm about to update the map to work better for trios as well; When I do I'll make it automatically put you to team 2. Thanks for the feedback! 👍

@@Ytillusionn What is this take? For pros that live in Virginia and have 1 ping, 60,000/ (1*2) = 30,000. Do you expect them to click 30,000 times a minute (5,000 times a second). This doesn't scale linearly.

If ur on a 100 ping u will be able to edit 5x a second n 60 ping 8 times a second n 50 ping 10 times a second

metronome trick literally doubled the number of edits I can do with a couple days of consistent practice
Metronome edit practice will give you consistent asf edits

In theory, yes. But it's impossible to actually press edit that fast so you can just edit as fast as you can with that low ping

Console editing is whole lot harder than editing on pc. If you play on old gen with a solid 68-70 ping editing almost feels damn near impossible to do
