It is the follow up to the story presented in Angel's Blade (link here: • ANGELS BLADE - THE ARM... )
This lore is set during the first strikes of the 13th Black Crusade, and contribute to the opening of the Cicatrix Maledictum and the Age Indomitus.
I have not spent a lot of time on imagery as the vast majority of listeners are just that, only listeners.
If you watch videos from this channel then please make me aware in the comments section. Should the amount commenting thus make up a significant proportion then I shall endeavour to denote more time to visuals. I just want to provide what you want and time is limited, so I have to concentrate on that which truly matters. From what I am told, this is sound an story. Hence, these types of video.

Everytime I hear "Horus was the best of the primarchs", I laugh. Sanguinius faced deamone, external and internal. Defended Terra, turned down being an Emperor himself. Faced down Horus, knowing his fate. If the Emperor had gone with Sanguinius, the war would have looked vastly different.

They climbed down from their pedestals and shyly approached each other with a smile. They disappeared into the bushes and emerged 15 minutes later after much giggling, laughter, and shaking branches.
The angel said “You still have 15 minutes left”, with a knowing wink.
With a look of excitement, the female statue turned to the male statue and said “Fantastic. But this time you hold the pigeon down and I’ll sh*t on it’s head!”

Hey Lord Balders, I think you are completely fine focusing on the story and the sound only. IMO you've made a great choice in focusing more on the stories and less on "explanatory lore" like how many types of bolt gun exist (Although I still sometimes quote "BURNING HERETICS" from the flamers video haha). This type of reading suits your voice super well and of course the writing in the ongoing Tarquinus and Kronan sagas has us all eagerly anticipating every next episode.
The second the Word Bearer said Kharn comes, my immediate reaction was “oh shit.” Balders, this is some of the best audiobook work I’ve heard. I am gripping my seat.

If only Mephiston was there, with his ability to step out of time, almost NO ONE can survive battle against him. His psychic abilitiss are not increasing, but his psychic power pool is increasing and will keep increasing till he dies, hes already an omega level power, I think eventually his power pool will exceed the emperors.

I much prefer the way Abaddon is portrayed in the talon of horus series.
It's much more in keeping with the heresy version
And the side characters are excellent (kayon iskander should have his own book for example)
abaddon is a example of a tactical genius and general. 13 crusades l, each done to accomplish a specific goal while bleeding the imperium of man. the 13th making way for the opening of the eye of terror to free the warp upon the galaxy. anyone who is gonna make the retcon arguement do some research first. it was actually stated in a far ealier book what each crusades target was though it was done as a man seeing visions. if anything look at a video Weshammer made on him where you can be shown that his intentions existed before they added the lore to better explain his actual targets.

The Black Legion had ten thousand years of experience, billions of mad cultists and fanatics, hundreds of thousands of traitors space marines, and the untold hoards of daemons of the Chaos Gods, but even with all these advantages it took the Warmaster ten thousand years to even achieve a solid victory compared to his many failures.
Hard to take Abbadon and his failure of a legion seriously after 12 crusades and ten thousand years of campaigning . The retcon that each crusade had a specific goal other then to make a break through past Cadia and out past the eye of terror just doesn’t resonate .
They aren't called Chaos for nothing 😅
Okay, the idea that the other 12 Black Crusades were all failures before they were retconned is just factually wrong. It was never the case that they all targeted Cadia, for example. The crusades were never retconned either. At one point, we had little information aside from that they were devastating raids that the Imperium never recovered from. Now, we have actual information about the crusades. Not a retcon, just information, when previously there was none
If they led with that from the start i doubt anyone would complain. Tho i do agree it is kinda cheap retcon@hamanu666
To be fair, for a lot of the traitors, the Heresy was just a few years ago, subjectively. For the ones that spent most of their time in the eye of terror, it's like 8 years since Horus was killed.
