I am a Japanese and when I watching this series sometimes I become so surprised that Hongki's Japanese is so natural and fluent. I think the most amazing thing is that he speaks Japanese just like Japanese boys who are same age as him speaks to their friends.
mina is such a sweet and considerate girl... she even picked the "peanut boat" her memorable moment because hong ki enjoyed it even though she felt she was going to die...
PDnim and the writer is nice brought the hats for them. I like it when the making is included the behind the scene moments liked that. It funny and make us more appreciated of the people that work behind the scene.

I'm sure that the number of the audiences must be far less than those of China, but still many people(mainly FTISLAND's fans) are checking out this show. Most reactions are just as same as in this youtube forum, everyone feels sad because of the so much short episodes and everyone gets warm feelings from their natural and caring atmosphere.

If you see the full episode about the Ferris Wheel part,it would be even more touching, I cried when I watched that part... They really love each other!!! I'm watching a reality show!!!!!
Go and watch the Full Versions, you will understand a lot of it... Mina feels that since Hongki is Korean, and since he his the man, that they should speak Korean together.. He lets her know on the Ferris Wheel, since she is Japanese. He wants her to speak her own Language so she feels better when she talking... That is why when you watch there EP, they will jump back and forth on there Language's.. You can tell there both happy, that they both understand each other.
"Mina is being sly in front of the men's underwear" haha..The staff obviously didn't proof read the Eng sub, but thank you for your effort. How Hongki and Mina robbed the writer and PD is just hilarious, not one hat but TWO hats!

They speak both languages. Mina studied korean when she was in university. Hongki is able to speak basic japanese, i think, coz he also has some works in Japan. Mostly they speak korean. :)

Both. Mainly Korean for the Korean audiences, I think (because WGM is still a Korean show) but as you can see from the bts/making, they switch to Japanese when comfortable. Hongki's pretty much fluent in conversational Japanese.

Yeah, I heard Mina did learn Korean for more than 5 years. Hongki and his band FT Island started his Japan activities in 2008 as an indie band.
