Like the weathered look on the metal, a rub with fine steel wool pad will accent the high points and look more like a well used original.

Hello, I am back, to bother you a little bit more. As I said on the other video about this gun, I could see one decades ago. As far as I can remember, yours looks very realistic. The brown "baquelite" of the one I saw, were brown like these. According to an article I read on a Spanish old guns magazine, these parts were made from "phenolic resisn and paper paste molded on high temperatures". Now: some words probably are not well written / translated from the Spanish text. Maybe I can make photos of the them, as I think I still have the magazine. Spanish is very alike Portuguese, so for us is easy normally to get what they write or say. Thanks for the video. It is very well up graded with your modifications. I will do the same, if I do not find a better accurate replica then the Umarex one... ( How I wish that Europe make air guns and replicas!!! I even pray for this!! Old crazy man things I know... )😢

There are airsoft versions which are allowed to be fully auto in the uk. Not sure on the quality and replica accuracy though. Unfortunately only allowed semi auto 4.5mm versions in the uk but you can certainly simulate full auto with fast trigger pulls. I’m more of a collector although I do enjoy some plinking too. I like to see how I can improve these things in the way I would expect them to be. Like I have said before, there are power limits in the uk although out the box these co2 guns don’t get close to what the limits are so I am keen to improve on that whilst keeping it all legal.

@@Waxmax Hello again!! I came ''back'' here to watch again this video. Like you I am more a collector, rther than anything else. I do not play airsoft, because I usually do not fit it groups, and because I do not want to paint my replicas in green or red as the Laws here demand. I got some 6mms replicas most of them sold before 2006, when this issue was ''regulated''. Now in this coutry it is almost impossible to buy 6mms replicas with out being legalized in an airoft club and also else where, and then I had to buy or immediately pain part of the frame and muzzle in red or bright yellow, for the short replicas, and part of the barrel and stock for the long ones. I would never do this. The Laws about these things were made by people that do not play, probably never saw a real gun, and did not went to obligatory military service like I had to. Like it happens on other subjects here, Laws are made by Incompetent people that know nothing about this and as so, did not for see the collectors on this kind of materials. Model guns are forbbiden, blank guns are very restricted, there they did the right thing for a change, as many people were stupidly modifying them to fire real ammo(!!!!). And so this is it...( Sorry for the long text, and poor english my new friend )

@@pedrotome9119 Completely off-topic, but... where do you find outdoor spaces in Portugal where you can do some plinking in peace? 😄
