Hiya, question! what range can you get out of it? am in the EU market and looking for an e step that can easily do 30+ km's (+- 19 miles) and I was thinking about buying this one or the segway G30E II
@@TimsElectric hi, yea am pretty average am 1meter82+ something and I weigh around 75kg! Also I just saw that the ninebot max g30 2nd gen is on sale for 666 euro! Whilst the niu kqi 3 pro costs around 749 euro.. which one would you pick in my situation?
@@cerberusthesavage they're both awesome...I prefer the Niu but the battery is bigger on the Ninebot Max...so it depends on your needs...plus the Ninebot is a tank...but I love the Niu...I can't decide lol
Yes I agree, I think the Max is supposed to be very similar but with an extra 100W which I think would put it into a contender for urban best commuter status :)
I just got the kq13 pro . It's definitely smooth , quiet , comfortable. Great range for my weight. (160lbs) good quality scooter. Love the gold color! It's like a Lexus on 2 wheels! Haha 😄 👍
Enjoyed this video Tim ! I have this scooter. Very solid piece of equipment. My wife really likes it because of the solid build quality. It’s easier to convince her of taking rides with me 😉Two thumbs up 👍🏻
@@TimsElectric No problems. We don’t go riding every day, so I’m not sure how it would hold up on a daily commute without the suspension. I have noticed a little play at the neck that might need a small adjustment. Besides that, it’s been a good buy ! No buyer’s remorse 😁.
Good review! I got the model under kqi2 and it's insane how good the build quality is. I may pick up the kqi3 pro or wait for next iteration from nui as it sounds like they are not messing around jumping in the escooter market. Great Job!
@Qu Z Awesome question. They do seem to have awesome build quality and the folding mechanism is awesome :) I think what I'll do is a comparison between the two...maybe next week :) I liked them both ...but figuring out which one to choose might be tricky...stay tuned :0
Fantastic video, really nicely produced and very informative! I'm having a tough time deciding between this and their KQi2 Pro, but leaning towards this for the wider deck. Thank you for mentioning the stem and your height! I'm 6'4, wondering if that would be too tall to ride comfortably or still okay, any thoughts? Some conflicting info online about the heights of the handlebars on the KQi2 Pro and 3 Pro, so a bit confused. Thanks very much again for the fun video :)
I would go with the KQi3 Pro ...there's not much of a difference and I also think you should be fine with the stem height :) Thanks for your kind words :)
Great review as always. Question, is the stem bar height about 39 inches just like all those standard stembars that are not adjustable? I really prefer it to be about 37 incher really. Hence it is uncomfortable for a 5'3 inches height.
I just measured it for you...I was doing a livestream ...it's 38" from the deck to the handlebars :) Hope that helps :) Warmly Tim Livestream here: amazon.com/live/broadcast/dbea7168-30da-426f-a7ae-3a6e4f96f826?tag=timothywest04-20&linkCode=ilv&ref_=social
Wonderful review. I did try to find the KQi3 Max, and it's nowhere! That would be the one I'd purchase (I'm down from 265lb to 240lbs, and plan on losing a bit more, if possible). A 450 watt motor would definitely be able to handle the few hills around my area. EDIT: I found their post on instagram I can't wait for the Max!
Hey Tim, great review! I was looking into purchasing a scooter and see this scooter and the Hiboy KS4 pro are both on sale for similar prices right now. I wanted to know which you might recommend. Thanks!!!
ok...so no flats on the HiBoy (honeycomb tires) better ride on the Niu (air inflated tires) Folding mechanism on the Hiboy is a bit finicky on the Niu it's amazing and simple little bit more power on the Hiboy at 500W but only 36 V so very similar to the 48V 350W on the Niu. Personally I'd go with the Niu as a bigger guy...it feels more sturdy and has a higher weight capacity :) Also look at the new Niu (Max) and the Inmotion S1 :) Cheers Tim
Why didnt you talk bout the range? How far in terms of miles it can carry you till it dies? Mine is only around 8 miles but I am a big guy so I am wondering
@@TimsElectric I know this is going to sound crazy to you but ever since I bought my Dualtron City, I can’t explain it I actually like the cheaper scooters better than the expensive ones maybe because I could just pick up the little ones a lot easier and just jump on them to go check the mail or go to the store the big expensive ones just seem like a hassle to me even though they’re very comfortable but I really don’t need something that fast I’m actually selling it on Facebook marketplace, I never had a problem with my Gotrax G4, but these new scooters ( NIU ) they got tons of great reviews and they seem very very solid that’s all I need, besides that I also am thinking about ordering this new full suspension step through E Bike, called CYRUSHER Kommoda, it looks so beefy and amazing. U would love it, I just did a video on my channel about that and another one that has two batteries👍🏽
I'm with you on the smaller scooters :) I use the Niu, Hiboy and Uscooters a lot...they're just so convenient ...I also use the Inmotion S1 for the same reason...but even that one is feeling heavy lol :) I'll check out the ebike video tonight :) Cheers
That's a really good question...I like them both...might lean slightly towards the Niu because of the looks and the folding mechanism...but others prefer the look of the UM2. Also it depends on where you're riding....for example is ride quality more important? Then you might look at a scooter with a suspension like the UScooter GT Sport or Booster V. Also take a look at the Inmotion S1 and Hiboy S2 Max. I just got the Hiboy today ....very smooth ride :) Unboxing coming out on Wednesday and then Review next weekend :) @Tom Blazek
Terrific question...I haven't done a range test on it...but it does have a 486Wh battery ..which is about 9Ah...so with me on it...quick math...I'll say around 10 miles...but I drive it at full throttle so closer to 6-7 miles I'm guessing...on a nice day :) hope that helps...if you need longer range take a look at the KQi3 Max...it has a bigger battery :)
This scooter is fully amazing, well built.. I have the KQi3 pro.. Pretty damn dope 🔥🔥
I'm really liking it too...my daily right now as I'm testing it :)
