Hey, at least it's got the EB110 and the Diablo. The quietest versions of them I ever heard. Also the quietest Viper. Never pictured the Skyline LM as being a "Rally Car." That term is used loosely in this game anyways. Just like its physics. It also seems the sorting table for the in game graphics is really bad, especially with the low LOD of the vehicles. Seems to be a trend.
Wait, this is the same game you've played on PS2 a while ago. I can't believe they re-released the same game twice (later on the PS2) with the same sounds and cars lol.
They made a lot of games using this graphics engine(stock car racing, all star racing) there all pretty much the same game. I hear nothing but bad reviews. It's an arcade racer so the physics are off, but in normal difficulty it's challenging and fun to play. My only complaint is the steering is a little in responsive
I'd been buying some of the old PS1 games I never found back in the day & I managed to find this one & Stock Car at a car boot sale of all places. I'm really impressed with the visuals considering they were budget games. on a ps3 with that slight graphical tweak it looks really nice. there's just something attractive about these older games -games like NFS Road Challenge & Colony Wars-Red Sun in particular still look amazing to me. I'm glad I kept my original PS1 games
why is this engine so good (even factoring in the emu enhancements)? i can only assume this is some half-assed budget game based on the publisher and release date. did the reverse engineer another game?
Phoenix games? Made a racing game? Really? Then again, phoenix also released Touge Max series in PAL region, the only Atlus game that I've ever played... that has nothing to do with Shin Megami Tensei or that shitty Game Of Thrones game from 2012.
For Phoenix standards, the music is surprisingly good.
And everyone else tbh
it kinda gives me midnight club 2 vibes
Gotta love how the tachometer is stolen from Ridge Racer Type 4.
Also this game is a reskin of every All Star Racing games plus the font during races is exactly the same used in All Star Racing 2.
@@alansanchez4944 yes i also noticed that
Namco would sue them.

These tire screeches sound like someone cleaning a windshield lmao
Those are some nice visuals for a PS1 game.
There is something about racing that makes my head spin 🥳🥳🥳
good graphics for a ps1 game
This actually looks decent.

Can you showcase Colin McRae Rally 2.0 for PS1 in HD and Bushido Blade? Thanks! ❤️
Another game with the Viper and the E36 that I never knew existed! Little kid me would have enjoyed this one.

seems like an odd place for your place position. Wow the reflection on the green car is impressive for ps1 very smooth no slow down
This is like Gran Turismo 7 recreated on PS1.
Rapaz até que é bem feito. Gostei. Quem não entendeu, vá se lascar.
Também achei bonito o jogo
❤️
Is this game any good? I don't recall seeing it for sale here in the US.
How did this come out in 2003? PS2 was out then.
PS1 had games that was released until 2005.

That sounds like Midnight Club 2
never seen thiz game b4,this on an emulator though right?
Yes.
ive got like 3 still sealed copies of this shit :)
also 5 copies of ''SHOOT''
Wait, THIS is a Phoenix game?
Where's the shitty zero-budget cartoon?
Pheonix games publishes hidden gems sometimes. They did publish ATLUS's touge series (as road rage 3)
this came out the same month as need for speed underground 1
wow the hud is B I G
It looks very good, but what is with the wheels from the other cars...?
They`re only spins if you are really close near on them... Lol!
nice one
Is this the best player?
Do this in duckstation
Fucking nice soundtrack, god damn. And it looks even more fun than slow mo' Gran Turismo 2.
Why slow motion?
The menu music sounds like from Midnight Club 2. Which is 2003 game that does far better than this game.
2003 ? PS1 ? wtf
Any game with "Start Racing" on it's name let's you know it's going to be quite bad lol.

That's because they were only publishers for it, atlus did all of the work for the touge series of games
I preffer gran turismo two
But it feels so slow.
But the playhability not the same than other games in ps1
