    The 8mm tool shaft width ones are the better routers indeed. Wider shaft means less vibrations, means less wobble. At 30000 rpm, wobble spells snapping tools. A nice little machine indeed! Now you can start building electric guitars! :oD

    RYOBI SUCKS!!! PURE JUNK!!!! You are guaranteed to need to buy a new one next year, unless you only do a couple minor jobs otherwise these junk tools stop working in 6 months of heavy use!!!!

    • @MyPlayHouse
      @MyPlayHouse  2 года назад

      Any hand tool can and will give up after 6 months of heavy use. And often you are better off with a cheaper brand when they do fail,, as the most professional brands, will request you to delivered in, or send in the tool for repair.. leaving you with no tools for weeks :-/ where with the cheaper brands,, you are way more likely to just get a replacement.

      @@MyPlayHouse that's not true, having worked in construction for 40 years, there are brands that last for years under heavy use although quality control has dropped big time. It's Sad that it is a throw away world. I have tools that are 50+ years old that still work perfectly because they built things to last back then. I grew up in a world where you worked hard, saved your money and bought something ONCE and were gokd for life and watched that gradually disappear and become junk where everything has a 1-5 years life span forcing you to keep spending your money buying the same crap over & over & over!!! ITS ALL ABOUT Money and making sure you keep spending it. It's the reason 60+% of people live check to check now and have no savings. I actually make 38.5% less money now that I did 30- 35 years ago!!
