- This is a quick demonstration of how you can use a snatch block to double the pulling capacity of your winch. Demonstrated using a U-Dump roll off trailer and WARN winch. For more on U-Dump Trailers, visit www.udumptrailers.com
That's awesome yall used my trailer for the video!
Well, it's a nice looking trailer :)
Hi Matt can you give us a review on how the U DUmp Roll off system has been working for you?
Thank you for sharing.
Nice snatch box
block silly goose, not box
Very cool!
Is it ok to leave the snatch block hooked up all the time and exposed to elements?
It would probably be fine for a while, but if you use it a lot it may get scratched and that could lead to rust, etc. You'll probably get a longer lifetime from it by protecting it from the elements - just like anything else.
Ok so is this what is used to keep from putting the vehicle in reverse while pulling the container on the trailer?
This doesn’t affect the force put on your vehicle - it just increases the weight capacity of your winch cable if you are pulling a heavier load.
@@UDumpTrailersLLC Exactly. Not that it affects the force on the vehicle but I've seen guys put the vehicle in reverse while pulling the container to take the full weight off the winch. The vehicle will roll slowly backwards to preserve the life of the winch. Using a snatch block, no reverse needed.
@@edwhite101 Not reverse, neutral. Reverse would be an extremely bad idea. Neutral is dangerous enough.
Pretty cool, but man is that really slow to roll on....
Hello, where can I order one of your anchors?
