This was awesome. I have a Benjamin trail NP .177. Bought it a few years ago, never shot worth a crap, so its been collecting dust. Watched your series along with a rifle tip to torque chassis screws. I love the NP now! I was actually shooting through the same holes over and over again!!!!! Three hours worth. My shoulders hurt from cocking the gun all day.
I know your working on more episodes for the future to come, but in the pellet sizes video you went over small-bore pellets. Could you make an episode talking about the big-bore pellet sizes?
Luv the Academy's marching band. lol . Ive used a pellet to seat another in a RWS 48 ,althou the skirt has never deformed otherwise. Good video, great tip.
I just bought 5 tins of .22 predator polymag from you,and the head of the pellets are so small they FALL into the breach til the skirt stops it...WHY? Are the manufacturer wrong????
Nice, first bullet is damaged and wont shot correct Rule #1 NEVER shoot a deformed pellet (i can dismiss away about 20% of a box sometimes), but i never misses ^^ Rule #2 Find the pellet that fits your gun (it can take 20 brands) and stick to them Rule #3 learn your gun makes shooting more accurate (practice make perfect) Rule #4 never pull a trigger (soft and slow drag on trigger make you hit) Rule #5 practice on plinking before going on bullseye
I have been using a large headphone jack for seating on my Crosman .177 Breakbarrel. Works pretty good. seats it in about 1/8 inch. Also have tried the ink pen but like the jack better.
Depends what you wanna do with it... Hunting or Plinking... A very cheap rifle is the Russian Baikal izh-61 with the nice HW barrel, but dont go hunting with it unless its small birds or rats... For small game hunting you can go for a normal break barrel rifle like a simple Gamo or Crosman... I have a Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk with the new power plant instead of a spring. Its really nice! Mt American Classic 1322 pump pistol is also a beauty and low budget but great to customize, and a baikal 61
Thats a question we cant answer... Every rifle is great! But if you want something cheap to hunt with... A simple Game Big Cat is for lots of people a great cheap rifle. Im more into crosman but im sure that i will like a Big Cat too!
i shoot different pellets of all types long skirt short skirts because of depth....after i shoot 3 to five shot shotgroups at 30 yards i see what kind of pellet the gun shoots the best then i weigh the hole can of them on my RCBS scale segregate them ex: 7.5 7.6 7.7 and so on. after i segregate them i go back out and shoot again to tighten up the group and gain about 10 to 15 yards and an inch in my group.. my GAMO SILENT CAT STOCK FROM WALMART SHOOTS GREAT AT 40 TO 50 YARDS .177 NOWIND
as for what you are daying about low powered and high powered...what fps range would you consider high/low? i have a beeman grizzly X2 (800fps with .22) (1000fps with .177)
Hi I am in Greece on a Beautiful island cold Kerkyra or Corfu. I just bought an AirArms TX200 MKlll and i zero it at 20m. The question is: Is it posible to have zero at 20m and again at 30m at the same time?????? Ooooo sorry.... My scope is a Hawke 3-9x40AO Mil Dot Thank you for your time. Best regards Argiris
You never told us how far to deep seat the pellet a half an inch or quarter of an inch and 1/8 of an inch you got to give us some kind of starting point bro some people might push him in a whole inch

We're working on a few new videos. I'm not exactly sure when they are coming, but they will be.
Thanks,
Pyramyd Air Team
I never knew seating could make such a big difference but it does. Thanks for the info.
How deep did you set your pallets eighth of an inch or quarter of an inch what's a good starting point

How far did you set your pallet in the boar half an inch a quarter of an inch what was your starting point

Been shooting my Benjamin inconsistently for a few years. No Wonder !!!! Thanks, good information !
How deep did you push your appellate in and what kind of tool did you use

They said don't use anything metallic for seating.... although I doubt it'll hurt anything to use your method...
wheres the rest of these great lessons gone? over a year ago since the last upload? anything new coming?
