I think Samsung will look a lot cleaner if they add the bouncy effect like the one on iOS in the notifications panel, app icons after closing the app and the widgets
i own s21 and ipad mini6 which i used ipad for more work related stuff. i like samsung cause samsung lets me use BOTH store files on my device AND cloud services. apple inhibited me from storing music files onto it. i guess im okay with it if i also own a samsung. music is one of my primary things.
Looks very similar overall. :) I can say that at least on iOS the setting for the delay there at 2:38 can be changed to be a bit faster in: Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch -> Haptic Touch.
If there's one thing Samsung should definitely copy from iOS is the animations, they're the best. I can feel how smooth they are in my s24 ultra and as you said the fact that now they're slower makes them look so appealing. I hope they can bring that to the A series because it's a really crappy thing to do to reserve smooth animations to +1000€ phones only when you got nothing or pixel a being as smooth as their premium brothers

That was years ago that android lagged in the animation department, they have done an amazing job. Remember 120hz first came to android phones iphones had 60hz for a while. both ios and android os are smooth now. great job. loving my s24 ultra.

I keep the animation on 1.5x and it is waaaay smoother and less snappy on my s24 ultra. Super fluid with everything even when i turn the screen. i never liked the snappy part of it i like to enjoy the fluidity of the phone.

i think its better to compare both devices with the same age. a 7 months iphone and a 7 months s24, android are always fast when it is new and tend to become slower than ios much faster as its age.
Depends on what you want/need. If you want a more customizable phone, have more control over it, and take pics of things that are far away, or high resolution pictures, Samsung. If you want something simpler, better videos and night pictures, I'd recommend Apple then, but please note you won't be able to do even a portion of the things you can do in a Samsung with an iPhone. Both are great phones but depends on what you mostly want

Samsung doesn't slow animations down on closing and opening apps. It stays consistent. And AoD on Samsung has better optimization. It so smooth
