You can move multiple app icons on the home screen on OneUI.
Hold one icon until you see the little menu, tap select on each icon you want to move, then either drag and drop, or keep your finger held on the icons, and use your other finger to slide the home screen across to the next page, and drop.
Also, if you want to go back directly to the folder after opening an app, you press the back button, or use the back gesture, not the home gesture, which is literally for bringing up the home screen.
This can also be done in ios just tap and hold any icon with one finger and select other apps with another finger and swipe to the other page and release the first finger

You can do most of those customisations on their cheaper phones too. For example, I use a Redmi note 12 that can do EVERYTHING the Xiaomi 14 ultra did.

IDK being a Samsung user for well over a decade now the ONE UI is pretty hard to beat. YES, years ago Samsung's ONE UI sucked to say the least and I used other custom launchers like Go Launcher Ex and others but today the ONE UI 6.1 is SO well tuned and you can tweak EVERY aspect and using the Good Lock modules I have NO need for ANY other launcher for customization! Samsung's Good Lock add-ons offer SO tweaking and options it's unreal. The One Hand + module for example completely eliminates the navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen giving you MORE display area and offers SO may swipe options to do things that you can customize to YOUR liking! If you have a Samsung phone with the ONE UI 6.1 WITH Good Lock can't be beat with customization features and is my favorite price FREE. But, of course everyone is different and may prefer some other option but in ANY CASE the level of customization FAR exceeds anything you can do on the WEAK Apple platform of any model. Apple's IOS interface is SO archaic and "simple" and limiting is SO many ways and is TOO constraining! ALL Apple phones look the SAME no matter what but with Android phones you can have a UI that is just for you and unique. I've tried Apple ONCE and it was SO limiting and ass-backwards and adjusting the settings is SO tedious I returned the product quickly and will stick with Samsung products.
I decided to use a launcher on my Tab A9+ because I found the default interface to be quite boring and limited. With a launcher, I can customize the look and feel of my device, add new features, and personalize it to better suit my preferences.

@@pvnkcloudxx ; I have used Smart Launcher but doesn't quite "do" it for me but, everyone has different wants/needs so there really is NO bad launcher if it works for you and does what it needs for you! That's all that matters!
@@pvnkcloudxx ; IMO the Samsung One UI is pretty tweakable and does what I want with the level of customization I need. But, the the beauty of Android as you can use whatever launcher YOU like and works for YOU! We are ALL different so there is NO "wrong" launcher if you are happy with it!

It think it is designed with less convenient access to features to try to make it hard for tech illiterates to do something that may decrease the quality of their experience.
The Galaxy s24 can also do the select multiple apps option but you don't have to hold on to the home screen to do all that you just have to hold on to an app and tap select more apps
Similarly in apple drag one app and select other apps that needed to be moved. He is missing alot of points in this video
23:26 LoL.. Samsung has back button in gestures, where ios and hyper os have not. So try with back button(slide from right/left), u will get the same exit as the other two.
As a samsung user i agree and its actually easier to do the side back gesture than doing the home gesture

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Hyper OS has the Multiple Users feature however, it doesn't allow me to create a new user instead it only creates a guest user, is it because the ROM that I have is a global version?

Go all the way down and tap multiple times on ,Reset to default values, until you see another option below it called ,Turn on system optimization,
Turn off ,Turn on system optimization, and accept.
The Multiple users will be available in the main settings page then.
Please Confirm if you can add another user (not guest)
The Multiple Users feature allows users to create more than 2 separate spaces and each space has different settings, games and data.

Have heard people have problems with it but not a single one of my family members has had any issues with it

on One UI, after holding down an icon click select on the menu that pops up, then select all the icons you want to move to another page 👍
Funnt you showed Hyper OS and iOs animation from Lockscreen but conveniently forgot One UI when it literally came with the phone
If you choose to select on your Samsung you can move some icons.
And Samsung is more logical if you want to go back to the folder you must use swipe back, but if you don't you must use the home button.

To move multiple icons on iOS hold one icon and while keeping your finger on it touch the other apps they'll group together to move them, on Oui you can hold the icon then a select option will appear and you can do it the same way like HyperOS
Xiaomi OS has hugely improved, I expect it to be the best one in the next 3 years.

@CentroidYT Nah, Samsung does it right. It's called Home button/gesture to let you go back to your home page and back gestures if you just wanna go back to previous page you're in. If you don't wanna lose the current page that you're currently in and wanna switch to another app, you can just swipe left or right on the gesture bar granted that app is already in the background.
Samsung's GoodLock app just brings a whole new meaning to customization and also maybe the Routine software is pretty decent!

For that part with folder: like the button in the middle is made for going back to homescreen thats why you have back button on left and right, to go back to the folder, if right side/ left side buttons sends you to the folder and to the homescreen makes the same move, than why is there a back button?

Hello Velian. On your s23 ultra have you had issues with viber or telegram when in a call to lose connection or to cut off often on your end? I have been watching you upgrading the software and the battery life has taken a hit from what I can see. I am assuming its a software bug as I have only updated the software with the first update that took away the option to shoot high bitrate 8k video. Please let me know if you have had this issue. Thank you very much for the hard work you are doing with the following up on ipdates for each old and new phones. You are awesome!
I would highly recommend for hyperos users to download cr7 bicycle kick wallpaper, and set it as a lock screen wallpaper with the depth effect, worked on my phone and was stunning af

Very nice video. One UI is unbeatable in terms of customization. One remark: Samsung 24 Ultra has animations too on its default wallpaper although not as impressive as in Hyper OS. PS. The video's thumbnail is perfectly aligned to the Samsung media player and i don't think this happened accidentally, kudos for the attention to detail!
Samsung also has the option of having an app drawer or only home screen options.

it'll use half of ur homescreen for notification and half for quick settings
u can move multiple icons on ios to just hold the icon until dancing appears then just using ur other hand tap on other icons it will move them too
