I saw Metallica, WASP and Armored Saint in a small club back in 1982... It was an all ages show that started at 2:30 on a Sunday Afternoon! The club was in Owens Mill Maryland and I lived in Springfield Virginia and nobody wanted to do that long road trip on a Sunday afternoon so I jumped in my car and got my map out of the glovebox(no Google back then) and I did the trip alone! One of the best decisions ever in my life!!
I saw the same show in St. Louis . It was legendary ! It seems like every Metalhead In St. Louis says they were there but it was actually a very small club.
Im 54. And followed armored saint my whole life, there music got me through snowy, stormy, dangerous travel, as a tradesman in the early 2000’s, I have never seen them live, Im going twice in a week, im totally stoked!
What a night, I’ve been waiting 40 years to see AS. My wife got me tickets for Christmas, then we upgraded to VIP when we arrived, I’m still fired up. Great show, didn’t even stay for Queensryche, drove two hours only for Armored Saint, well worth it!!!!
Thanks for posting man. Super appreciated. 26:11 in and I’m glad the motor mouth that was nearby shut the F up. Dude was non stop talking to someone and amazingly came through the recording. Pretty surprised by the set list too. Great to hear some songs they haven’t played in a while. 🤘🏻
Nice to watch the first night of the tour. Seemed like there might be some issues with the guitars. Not sure what it sounded like in the room, but some of the power chords seemed to get lost in the shuffle. Tribal Dance was a nice treat. Armored Saint Rules. Thanks for sharing!
