Honestly I remember loving Super Mario Super Show as a kid. It was my favorite TV show, I'm kinda scared to revisit it to ruin my own nostalgia but man, did I love that show.
Bob Hoskins (R.I.P) , aka Live ACTION Mario, is also the same actor who played the protagonist in WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT? John Leguizamo, who plays Luigi voices Sid from ICE AGE, John Wicks mechanic in the 1st movie and various other roles
My husband and I just watched the movie last night. It was awesome! The Easter eggs, the music and sound effects from the games. It was funny and entertaining.
A+ video! What a history lesson for Mario TV & Movies, I had no idea there were so many different forms of media! Takes a real genius to make videos like these!
I am really glad you actually included every screen adaptation here. Like, you even included both anime. That's commitment. I was actually worried those wouldn't be here.
I remember some of the Mario cartoon flash backs.. my favorite is the full movie from the 90s I love that movie… also the SNL skit I have never seen that..but I would would watch a full length movie of that with pascal!
And Donkey Kong was actually the BEST of the Saturday Supercade cartoons. These people would flip if they see what the show did to Frogger, Q-Bert and Donkey Kong Jr.
It's fascinating to know that there were so many super mario cartoons, cartoon movies and kids shows over the years. I remember watching the super mario bros 1993 movie on tv when I was younger. I am really excited to see the super mario bros movie in theaters.
Loved this journey with y'all. Personally I don't think Super Mario World series got enough potential. It only had 13 episodes. They could've made more! I enjoyed it! Also the women in this video were BEAUTIFUL!!! 😍😍😍
That one guy thought he wouldn’t have watched Donkey Kong. We all watched it back then because it was a Saturday morning cartoon and video game based on the early 80s. What kid wouldn’t? A neat bit of trivia is Donkey Kong was a part of CBS Saturday Supercade whose theme was written by Shuki Levi, who also wrote the theme to The Super Mario Super Show later. Shuki Levi wrote a _lot_ of cartoon theme songs in the 80s and 90s and 00s.
The first one: "Would you have watched that as a kid?" Yes. Because there were limited options and we were some kind of combination of stubborn and stupid. 😂 Remember the era, my dude!! 🤣
I used to go to an alternative dance club when I was young and every night they closed with Mario's song. As soon as the song started people would be cheering and laughing. And when the song finished everyone was going back to their homes or an after or whatever. It was the best way to finish the night!
When I was visiting my Nana as a kid, I went into one of the bedrooms and watched the Super Mario Super Show marathon on some cable channel, it was awesome!

It was him climbing up a bean stalk. Just like how in the game. I'm really hyped for the movie and can't wait to go watch it!!!!
Super Mario Bros. (1993 film). RIP Bob Hoskins and Dennis Hopper. When this movie was released, I was nine years old. When this film was released in 1993, I saw it in the theaters.

Being a kid watching Captain Lou Albano as Mario was great. I realized he lived in my town and I would see him at like the gas station or the local supermarket. Very nice guy whenever I saw him.
By the way the woman in the begging of the new Super Mario Bros movie plumbing commercial is the same voice actor who did the voice of the Princess in the original Super Mario Bros super show series back in the 90's.
Ya-HOOO!!! Imagine participating in an E-Sports event, and now you're about to play the brand new Super Mario game that just premiered that night, for the championship. 🤯
I watched a season of Dancing with the Stars, where a pair got to dance as the characters for a Finale performance (and it was the first time they were able to dance it).
2:28 - That Mario (King) render comes from Mario Kart Tour. And I say, he’s the BEST CoinBox driver in my opinion. He’s first debuted since the Anniversary Tour 2022, and he’s the 3rd CoinBox Mario, alongside with Mario (Hakama) and Mario (Tuxedo). I quadruple capped him and levelled him to the max, which is 8. So, yeah.😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
