Many Pastors / leaders don't want to take accountability because Pride has stepped in as well, and they've made it about themselves and NOT GOD! Pride comes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall! :(
The problem is when these church leaders are focused more on their celebrity & finincial status. The majority of those being called out, are pastors of mega churches and promote the false doctrine of prosperity, while neglecting teachings condusive to the standard of godly holiness. This leads to a lack of accountability, and the development of a cult following. I see some here saying that Evans owes no explanation. Therein lies the problem, because it is an entirely unbiblical position. James 5:16 is clear that we are to confess our sins to each other, not that we are to keep them in secrecy with the false idea thar only God can judge, therefore only God needs to know. High profile means high level scrutiny. Considering this, if you don’t want to run the risk of losing your case in the court of public opinion, wisdom dictates that you avoid making a spectacle of yourself. But these leaders have made a habit of openly displaying their lavish lifestyles, and then seem to expect to be above being called out. So Evan most certainly owes the world an explanation, as does Jakes. In the case of Jakes, if he were with Diddy with pure intentions, he must be willing to accept two biblical facts. First, if Diddy is his friend he should not be, based upon the lifestyle that Diddy exudes. As you’ve already stated, what fellowship does light have with darkness? You and I have discussed other celebrity connections that Jakes has, and it would appear that he is more concerned with making associations based upon a person's wealth & social status, rather than their relationship with Christ. Second, if his reasons for being with Diddy are purely innocent, he should not make an occasion for his good deeds to be evil spoken of (Rom 14:16). With the level of experience that Jakes has, he should have known this and avoided all of the photo ops with Diddy. Again, the company we keep, as leaders; lends itself to revealing who we truly are.

Great overview, Pastor Rock, of the theology and ministerial style of the preachers you’re covering. Their platforms do promote a certain image of God that people adopt. They do need to be transparent and church leadership needs to hold teachers accountable even if they are the churches’ brand. True, that sin hides in those dusty corners until the Holy Spirit brings it to light.
Meant to say they're still asking for people to pay their tithes and offerings and telling these people that they have accountability to pay their offering and tithing not being clear about the Scandal that they're in God is exposing

I thought Dr Evan's association with Robert Morris' issues. He stepped down only several days before the Morris scandal, and the two are close friends. Possibly, he knew of the abuse, and helped to cover it up, or did absolutely nothing about it.

Before the leaders fall they make the congregation take accountability on offerings tithing they also know the word of God every scripture you talked about in this particular video they those scriptures as well I'm pretty sure they came down hard on some of their members and some of the people that came to visit their churches and told them to be accountable they have to practice what they preach there are no different than the members these are God's people these people do not belong to them this is the reason why they held more accountable when it comes to the Book of Life so you are right back in the day they had people stand up and admit they sin and set them down so Tony Evans is the only one that did sit down but these are the preachers are still asking for money and telling the people that they have accountability to give them hiding offerings even though they have not admitted to their wrongdoings continue to do the work this is Ministry you may not be in a Pulpit but you are ministering can God have you doing this for a reason wishing you many blessings keep up the work may God forever bless you and keep you Amen🙏
