All of your videos are very good. I enjoy the most watching and learning as you work in the woods and steep terrain. I have a Yanmar Vio50. I am retired and 70 with no excavator experience. I am slowly trying to clean up my 13 acres of wooded steep land. I hope to build a trail system through it. Thanks, and Happy New Year !
That’s great! I started 3 years ago and it just takes time in the seat to get comfortable. It’s fun work anyway so no need to rush. Thanks for letting me know you like the video! 😃 Happy New Year 🎉
is that a zero-tail? how do you like that in the woods? I just bought a kubota Kx91-3, similar size, and was told you want the biggest butt a possible when using a mini-x for land clearing/stumping.
It has a very small amount of tail swing. You’re correct in more counter weight equals more digging and lifting power but this one does fine. 6” trees come right out. Larger trees require a little digging roots. Hope that helps. Thanks for your comment and good luck with your machine!

I just bought a used Kubota kx91-3... have the exact same desire on my property. Drainage and trailwork so I can better access my entire lot.
You do a great job and hello from SC
