i am in love with this wall!!!! All the colors, all the different sizes, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS! The best transformation I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing this.
Your wall is awesome! I love all the different colors and textures. Before you started I thought the boards were going to be vertical. Horizontal was certainly the right way to go! LOL! Thanks for sharing this project!
Wow! That project turned out beautiful. Last year my son gave me all of the leftover wood from his fence project. I’ve been using the wood to make wooden totes. However….hmmm…my laundry room could use a makeover…. Thanks Christina!!
FREAKIN AWESOME! LOVE ALL THE DIFFERENT SIZES AND COLORS TOO...AND TEXTURES!~WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A WALL IN MY HOME TOO....WOW...'I CAN DREAM CAN'T I?' THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING.
I really respect the way you describe how you went about each and every step from cleaning to laying out and then the application of your wood. I'm with you regarding what I like in using barn wood and if I had an appropriate space in my home and in my decor, mine would look much like yours. It's clear that you love what you installed in your entry. Could it be possible there could be an entire barn in your future?
I would only hang minimal art etc on this sort of wall as many old barn boards have traces of lead paint and can be released into your home as dust through any holes made in it, even if its sealed with poly.
Imperfect , = Rustic = looks great! There are no straight perfect lines in Nature! Imperfect = Natural = Genuine👍
Thank you. I love my wall.
Love old barns!
Love love barns and barn wood, love the history in that wood. Job well done!
That’s looks great! And the best part is it’s uniqueness. No one in the world will have a wall like yours. It’s beautiful!

Do you have to seal the wood?
Yes. I did seal with poly before installing
@@theturnedlegI saw that you did, do you think it's necessary to do for barn wood going on the wall in my garage?
