Hey dudes, new to your channel but I’m about 5 seasons on F1. Looking forward to my first watch on your episode!

In hindsight, if Mclaren had prioritized Piastri over Lando at the start of the season and given him the upgrades first and if team decisions had gone his way earlier in the season he would be very close to Max right now, imo and favorite to win the DC.
That’s purely hypothetical because it was never going to happen, but clearly in hindsight Piastri was ready to win the championship this year.
If you judge a driver on rate of improvement Piastri is peerless. He is helped by the car but even the team has been playing catch-up on Piastri.
At this point Piastri’s is leading the entire team and they are trying to catch up to his level.

Underneath Oscar's boyish charm and calm demeanour lies the heart of an axe-murderer 😁

@@backofthegridF1 Not only did Oscar mug Charles to take the lead... he did it in front of his own mother. This man is a true killer 😁

Perez v Ricciardo isn't who's the faster driver- it's who is getting the most out of the car. I'm not saying one over the other, but the VCARB "upgrades" means it's gone from maybe Q3 to total crap and DR3 is getting more out of it than Yuki despite the rubbish strategies. RBR has fallen off an even bigger cliff. Who would I pick? Lawson hasn't raced (not driven- big difference) for 12 months so him to VCARB not RBR. But then maybe RBR isn't the plum seat it was 6 months ago...
BUT where is Oscar going? Forget contracts, he's not going to drive for McLando for very long. And if he pulls another big move on anyone in Singapore then defends it (which will be 4th race in a row), he's going to get inside 19 driver's heads...
