Got the 8’, I ride the 150X and have been DW and surfing it. boxes still need to go up another 3” for heavier riders, riders that like a lot of front foot pressure, riders who like less nose sticking out when on foil. If you ride a bigger foil boxes are perfect. A 16” track would solve the problem. The board is super fast in the water and I love the every thing about it except the box placement.
what is your weight? How do you compare the 8" and 7'10? You mention that you rode the 8" in Maui, but the 7'10 will be your go-to from now on. I'm 155 lbs with decent SUP paddle skills and I'm an intermediate wing foiler. Do you think will total commitment, I can struggle through the learning curve on the 7'10 and save the trouble/expense of learning on the 8 and sizing down to 7'10 later? I'm also planning to use it a lot for light wind and downwind winging, and I have a foil drive assist to help with the learning curve with the paddle. Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Mahalo!!
Hey mate. I’m 79kg and love the 7’10. I used it in M2M and Hood river along with many other places surfing too. If you’re a decent paddler/foiler 710 is the way to go. Foil drive will also assist you. I currently ride it with a Lift 150 HA-X and love it.
Since the KT Ginxu and the Armstrong DW board both come with bags this is actually a valid question. A bag for this size board would probably be an extra $150- $200 if bought separately.

@@Flowfoiling picked up my 7’10 today. I can’t wait to suffer 😅
Does it come with a bag?
Does it come with a house?
