Hello Greg, if you are looking for books for CNC programming specifically there are many to choose from. Personally I use CNC Programmers Handbook by Peter Smid. It is very popular among machinists who use Fanuc controlled machines. But this is partly preference based. Outside of CNC I would recommend, Technology for Machine Tools - 8th edition for machining fundamentals, Mathematics for Machine Technology - 8th edition and Interpreting Engineering Drawings - 8th edition.
