Choi asking "I saw all of them coming, but why did I get hit?" hit waaayyyy harder than expected. I've been there and that feeling is awful and I can't imagine how much it'd be amplified by the stage it was on
def weird to have your worst moments assembled into compilations lol. it's pretty cool to have things that matter this much to you though. i heard a quote from the movie "Pig" with Nic Cage... something like "we don't get many things to really care about". Cool to see such driven purposeful people I think that's my main draw to MMA tbh
That 4:22 moment has me in my feels, he said I saw every punch coming how come I couldn't get it done. Both men really gave it their fucking all in that fight, Choi might be on 3 fight skid but all 3 have earned him Fight of the night bonuses, and Cub Swanson has lost 5 fights in a row at one point in his UFC career and is now 3-1 in his last 4 so I know Choi will come back better than ever.
I can cry watching a toilet paper commercial. It ain’t got shit to do with manliness bro. Emotional content/emotional intelligence is lacking in our society.
@@civiSapper no society is way to emotional feeling over facts is today's society grow up you pansies men 200 years ago would laugh in your face. Control your emotions you're not women
Fighting competitively has to be the biggest emotional roller coaster ever. It’s months of preparation putting everything you have into the training and weight cutting. Then for the sum of it all to not go your way has to be so heartbreaking. They work harder than any other athletes I’ve heard of.
Hit me in the feels seeing MMA fighters who are built as tough as nails to break down at moments like this, just shows we're all still humans with emotions at the end of the day no matter who we are.
I'm 38 and grew up in Boston, and sports have always been a huge part of my life. I follow all 4 major sports religiously and have since I was a kid. UFC has overtaken all the other ones For me. Chuck Liddell got me into this sport and watching it grow into this shit.... Moments like those captured in this great video are exactly why. They put it all on the line, in every way possible.
@@nielsgroothedde8038 if I remember correctly ( I'm not saying that sarcastically, I actually am not 100 on this) cody talked alot of shit to yan during the build to the Faber fight.
Yeah losing a basketball game ain't the same this is why I love this sport more than anything. These people truly give it there all health on the line. And when they get defeated it's as real as a defeat can get.
Such a different perspective to look at the fighters from this angle. When choi said i saw the punches coming, why did i get hit, i realised how much i only cared for the events and what happens under the big lights, but never really cared about the fighters as humans with feelings. lol
Anthony apologising to his coach is one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve seen, you’ve got nothing to apologise for rumble, he’s proud of you like we’re
St.Pierre vs Bisping really had all defending champs lose their belts and get finished, never even realized that. JJ lost KOed by Rose, Cody KOed by TJ, and Mikey b choked out by George just brutal when u think about.
The ups and downs of this sport is what makes it such a great thing to watch man. The highs are high and the lowes are low. Especially when the stakes are soo high. Best sport known to man
The Rumble one is so brutal. Any clip of a fighter saying “I’m sorry” is just gut wrenching like you absolutely do not have anything be to be sorry for
I always forget to shed some thoughts for the losers.. I cant imagine training that hard for months only to come up short. It must be a devastating feeling.
I really hate Peter yans homie or whatever for that “you should’ve seen Cody’s face” comment I bet if it was the other way around it wouldn’t be so funny, watching your friend who’s like a brother to you get rocked
Ngl, Usman and Burns fight made me tear up. You can tell Usman was happy and sad about winning like that. Can't even begin to imagine the feelings they had in that cage
Watching this a few months ago it didn’t hit at all. After recently starting training and watching this again I swear this brought me to tears a few times. Legit got choked up
I still feel that Burns beats Usman if they fight again. Obviously Usman should be a heavy favorite, I just think it Burns gets another crack at Usman he gets it.
And they don’t deserve free healthcare? A raise? They go out there and risk EVERYTHING. Even the lesser ranked fighters are risking the same thing when they step into that octagon, their health. These reactions should be a fucking reminder that these are humans. Humans who sacrifice their lives, their blood, their sweat, their tears. At the end of the day, this is more then entertainment and these fighters are exposing themselves and risking what for them could be the lowest of lows. In a loss they can lose both pride, and a confirmation that their children and family have security and wealth. I hope that while the sport grows in popularity, care for the fighters goes with it. Fighters lose support so fast because of a lost, and if anything support should increase in loss. Rumble crying and apologizing to his coach hit me harder than I expected
Dude I know 🥺
That settles it. Real men do cry. Tell Rumble I’m wrong…
bruh i cried too that jus now its so sad
rip rumble
Hit me even harder after what happened, valenrumble. Rumble onn😭

When you’re forced to be shelled up while a guy is throwing things from everywhere is such a powerless feeling
Man seeing Neil Magny like that at 1:33 was heartbreaking, and I’m not even much of a Magny fan. It’s just depressing to look at a guy like that

Heartbraking 💔
No one talked about it but stipes corners reaction to his lost was heartbreaking, hearing his friend say no no no then turning away is just beyond sad
This whole video was the opposite of fun

Bisping quoted Pops, from Friday. “You win some. You lose some. But you live to fight another day.”
This whole video hit me in the feels man. Cody’s reaction to Faber especially just watching your mentor and hero get beaten down like that…
5:12 well that was kinda sadistic
Innit
Russians..
This made me cry my heart broke for Gilbert Burns the sport we love is the most real reality tv the chrill and the agony is as real as it gets
Was not expecting Matt Serra's arms to look that short when he raised them
He's jacked too it makes his already short arms look shorter
At the end of the day, these fighters all work incredibly hard. A loss is a learning experience. A win is a confirmation of all that you already knew.

Nice to see the heart felt moments, little reminder of how much depth this sport has.
man the burns one hits hard
These videos are so well put together. Me and the mrs are crying our eyes out.
So much respect for the fighters. They expose their souls in the octagon.

They are human beings. Not just fighters for a prize.
R.I.P Rumble, thanks for the fights big man

Was not expecting to cry in the break room today
RIP Rumble. Thank you for the big ride.
That Gilbert scene and Cody and Micheal exchange after both losing hits hard

Piotr Yan and his corner saying You should have seen Cody's face,I've recorded it disgusting, now I'm so happy Piotr Yan loses to Aljo
I watched it with Your Going Down song instead and its more inspiring than sad
Man, rumble crying to his coach after him passing away is so sad :(
Seeing Petr giggle at Cody's reaction makes me kinda mad. 5:11
