The Falcons needs to draft byron Murphy with the 8th pick in the 1st round and draft DT kris Jenkins in the 2nd round and draft Edge rushers Chop robinson & Darius Robinson in the 3rd round
DT makes sense because he can have an immediate impact as a rotational player at least. OT also makes sense for the future but he's going to be on the bench his rookie season, assuming no injuries, which doesn't help immediately.
We need to go pure defense on this draft. If they don't take a corner or an edge with the first 2 picks, i will trust they have a plan after the draft.
I’ve been saying the same thing about the edges. Darrius Robinson, chop and Ellis are going to be great players (with the right development). If jonah Ellis was healthy and went to the combine, he’d be a 1st round pick.
I love this podcast. It’s by far the best Falcons podcast available, but the intro is nothing short of awful. Only criminals use an alias. I also don’t wanna hear the word illustrious ever again. Be proud to be Aaron Freeman, and do what you do, which is awesome, but really rethink the intro.
A losing franchise turning their nose up to the most winning coach of all time who knows more about football history than Arthur blank ever will to hire a coach with a losing record just because he’s touched the hands of Mcvay. We deserve to lose.
Pitts only has had 1 good seasons and the other thing he had that season was Matt Ryan every other year we have had him hes had a qb that couldn’t get him the ball i watched a podcast breaking down Pitts film last year and he was open more often then not but never got the ball theown his way until he was covered and half of those throws were poorly placed balls its a wonder he had any stats that goes for London and Bijan too.. dont worry about Pitts if Kirk is healthy Pitts will be that unicorn 🦄
But i do agree we could use another big receiver we padded the wr room with fast small guys because we had London and Pitts but if 1 of them go down we are going to need a jump ball receiver in training to fall back on
You know who were the people talking about Don Shula record? You Jarvis. You Aaron. 92.9 the game. You know who was not talking about it? The falcons organization. Bill. All of them. You’re the jesters.
Huge mistake by the Falcons letting Belichick get away. Robert Kraft sabotaged that, it really makes Blank look weak. Morris is a big mistake a proven failure at HC at least they upgraded at OC but downgraded at DC.
Help me understand why Morris is a proven failure as a head coach and Belichick isn't. You must nit be aware of Belichick's time as Cleveland Browns head coach. This position of yours is quite interesting. If Belichick wasn't given a second chance, cause he was a "proven failure" as a head coach, the Belichick we know today, wouldn't even exist. So why did Belichick deserve another shot to show he wasn't a "proven failure" as a head coach, but Morris doesn't deserve the same opportunity??? Both were successful DCs under successful Head Coaches. So why did one deserve that 2nd chance but the other doesn't? Things that make you say umm🤔
@@antoniostanley8684 Are you talking about the Browns team that had the worst record in the league when he took them over then got that team to the playoffs? Morris has already had his 2nd chance and proved he doesn`t have what it takes and the other is the greatest coach of all time.
@@antoniostanley8684 Yes you are right the pattern is success. The DC we had last year did a great job, but the offense was trash. They should`ve kept that guy. The OC the have this year did a great job with the Rams passing game and is a huge upgrade to what the team had last year. They passed on the greatest mind the game has ever seen for a 2 time failure at HC. So yeah the pattern is success.
Not really? Shoved into a head coaching postion with little to no warning with the bucs and still managed to get a winning season with them, it’s been 15 years since then and he won a ring as a DC.
That man was a fucking cheater and everybody in the league know it!!! Him and Brady!!! Throwing them flat ass footballls and having a private pr going around the league recording practices of a lot of teams!!! Ohhh don’t let me start talking about that
This is a what have you done for me lately business. Raheem Morris has a more recent Super Bowl victory than any of these guys we’ve interviewed. So I’m curious as to what are you talking about?
@@ChrisTyroneDrip Morris may be a slightly above mediocre DC (that Super Bowl was won by Matt Stafford in SPITE of Mporris' defense), but a lot of good coordinators are CRAP as head coaches.
Name a coach that didnt fail their first go at coaching? You cant Morris is the perfect guy for the job he’s coordinated both sides of the ball hes young he’s learned from great coaches he is the only guy i have heard EVERYONE say is the most natural leader they know and when he was temp HC here last time the team done a 180 and started looking better as soon as he took over also a coach can only control a percentage of the w/l record the tampa team he coached was poorly put together and had no scheme in mind while building it it was like they put names up on a dart board to find players idk if anyone could have done better than Morris did with that team
Don’t y’all get tired of making excuses let’s be honest about things we hired a guy that has a losing record as a head coach and signed a QB that can’t win in the postseason
morris is a culture hire that hasnt been a head coach in over 10 years. kirk was the best option available in free agency. Hoping to hit on a draft prospect and expecting them to win now is just unrealistic.
He won a recent super bowl as a coordinator and got a lot out of a rams defense that was fairly young… also he’s been a part of great staffs relax my man let’s see what happens
That loosing as a head coach was a long time ago. And 2 superbowls since then. And how many NFL QB’s in the last few years has a winning play off record? Please answer how many?
I’m taking Nabers if he’s available 😂

Turner, Murphy, Lassiter, McConkey.....1st four

We literally have 4 defensive tackles we the only team in the nfl that refused to get a pass rusher

Honestly I prefer Newton over Murphy
Would love Byron Murphy honestly. My current wants in the 1st in order are Laiatu Latu, Byron Murphy, and Dallas Turner 3rd
In Raheem “We Believe”!! 🗣️Say It With Me
Byron Murphy is the guy for me. I saw Chris Simm’s breakdown of him and then went and watched his tape and HOLY SHIT what a player.

We got the hire right if we win the superbowl while Raheem is the head coach
I am glad we hired the right coach. Ra is da man.

So much stank on Jarvis face 😂
Come with that heat 🔥
Dude… I’m a fan of your keen takes on the Falcons but please stop trying to make “illustrious” a thing lol smh…

Boo-hoo… Belichick is OLD & WASHED
We definitely need another receiver. Pitts is a question mark and London will see double coverage a lot

You seem to have a pattern on who's a good choice at coach and who isn't. Just say it out loud already, as if no one recognized it already.

Who dey mofo's
Belicheck wasn't hired because of his politics. Period.
I been saying this. Get the sure thing. Byron or Johnny newton or the corner out of Toledo. I don’t mind Dallas but I hate when teams bet on upside
I don't know for sure if any of them are "for sure," but I agree with u. We are not in a position to be able to strike out on our 1st round pick.
