Cracking video - thankyou. Can you explain where you took the small path that leads you to the lower walkways along the glen? We took our kids up on Sunday trying to get to the dipping pools at the 3rd glen but we took the high route, ending at Jerah then couldn't work out how to get safely down to the river. We ended up with some disappointed kids and adults as I remember swimming in them when I was a kid! Thanks!

Hi Lindsay..I moved out the area three years ago so it may have changed a bit because the plantation trees have grown ? Best way to describe it is from Menstrie head up the farm track and you come to a big sweeping bend in the track .the track sweeps round to the right but the path heads straight ahead. and just follow it until it drops down to burn level. If you use google maps for menstrie and use the satellite view..you can actually see the path and follow it on that view..it then heads up to Jerha along the forest break clearing between the new plantation trees..hope that helps..it was a favourite walk of mine when I lived in Stirling

@@donnywilcox Thankyou so very much! I think I know where that track is - it is fairly overgrown looking so might give it a try without the kids to check it out! Thanks again and hope you are enjoying lots of walking in your new locale.

Looks amazing. What mine did you explore before? I have an interest in old mines.

Hi Sammy ..I don't really go into the mines as the dangers are real..Im certain you appreciate that. However I enjoy researching and looking for the entrances in my local area. There are three or four in the Ochils that I know of and have looked inside ..also the lime mines near the north third. Im always surprised they are still open ..but they are out of sight in the remoter places ..hope that answers your question
