Anybody who hasn’t tried their candy out before and you’re pretty on the fence about it: Go for it. There’s so much love and dedication for the craft translated within every piece, you can feel it. This video, like the mushroom vid, is a perfect example of how well rounded and mastered the Lofty crew is
I've been wondering how you made the dressing flavor ever since I got a pack of last year's mix. It is absolutely "savory candy" and I'm still amazed that you pulled it off.
i’ve been watching for years and it’s just so endlessly amazing to me your enthusiasm and knowledge of this and skill you have it’s incredibly inspirational to see someone that truly loves what they do
I just got my Thanksgiving candy feast in the mail. Holy cow!! The ham seriously does taste like ham!! Thank you being a real life Willy Wonka, Greg! Absolutely wonderful job!
Bernard, my hat is off to you. Regardless of where you are now, and I hope you are still making candy, I have to respect anyone who can make such creative confection.
I’ve been watching this channel’s videos since the beginning of the Covid outbreaks. Listening to Greg, which you seem like such a good guy, talk about these candies and watching him or other crew members make them has been an absolute delight these past several months. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for RUclips just randomly suggesting a video of yours one day. Lol
so I just received my order for the 2020 feast and here are my thoughts on the flavors: corn: tastes like butter first, then you get corn. I'm not a big fan of real corn, but I do enjoy the flavor of it. this is on point. butternut: Mellow "warm" cinnamon at the start, then a squash taste. ( this reminded me of melting those cinnamon valentine hearts in water and drinking that as a kid.) sweet potato: has a marshmallowy flavor (I never had marshmallows on my sweet potatoes, so it doesn't have any thanksgiving vibes personally) beet: Has a noticeable sweetened beet flavor, rather pleasant almost having a maple flavor to it. apple pie: Similar cinnamon taste to the butternut candy, but with a bit of apple. (little worried about the apple cider tasting the same) blueberry cobbler: sweet blueberry flavor with a little tartness. cranberry: Very tart, almost to a pucker. definitely gives the feeling of a whole berry sauce, also get a bit of citrus (but that might just be the acid they mix into the candy playing tricks on me). pecan: butterscotchy-mapley vibe, not too sweet. ham: I personally didn't like my first try. there's a smokey flavor in there, and my mind is thinking smoke and sugar and tasting of burnt caramel instead of ham. Was expecting a salty note, and a bit of smokiness. It took me the second try to piece the flavors apart from what my mind was trying to tell me. I think the smoke flavoring was too overpowering. dressing: Delicious! This took me back to when my friend used to make "herb glass", which was making hard candies with fresh and dry herbs inside. The seasoning is on point for a savory bowl of bread dressing. I think this one is my favorite of the batch. apple cider: was totally wrong in my worries about the apple pie and the cider tasting the same. This has a very deep and rich flavor. it reminds me of the musk flavor you get from rose water, with the added tartness of a granny smith apple. I received a bag with most of these, and I couldn't be happier. overall a great selection of flavors.
Hey Greg, this year I finally got my hands on the Candy Feast and some other candy from you all the way here in New Zealand. I must say the feast came out SOO much better than I have ever anticipated! I had to wait quite a while for it to arrive as it went half way around the world but I must say, I am sooo shocked as to how accurate the flavours are and how the tongue will just override the sweetness of the sugar with flavours such as ham!!! I am so excited I finally got to try some of your candy!!
I just ordered some of your candy. As a longtime subscriber of your channel I am very excited to finally get a chance to try out some of the flavors that I have seen Greg make on video!
I’ve watched your videos for years and finally bit the bullet and bought the thanksgiving mix a couple days ago. I’m so glad I caught it before it sold out!
I had a weird dinner starter one that is very like what you're talking about. It was garlic flavoured cotton candy served on a fresh rosemary skewer with some of the green leaves still attached (it was only a single mouthful). We were instructed to put the candy in our mouth to eat and slightly crush the rosemary at the same time and breathe in. I swear it tasted like roast lamb as these two flavors are most commonly used when cooking it. It blew my mind.
These are so neat! I tried the crystal rose last time I passed through Tallahassee (driving from Orlando to Houston)- hope to go back and see candy being made in person one of these days!
Yes, shove the Unicorn Dropping of each batch into the drop roller and make these random colored, but uniformly shaped bits. Then mix all the flavors up! Not as pretty but tastes the same, just like real leftovers!
dang. missed the image candy... but thanks for giving us the drops option! I remember the corn and ham being particularly tasty last year. looking forward to the new flavors. thanks!
The Thanksgiving assortment was a huge hit at the family Thanksgiving last year! Would love leftovers this year since I didn’t order early - which is okay, because we’re not doing a big family thanksgiving this year. Just a whole Thanksgiving dinner complete with a whole turkey for me and my husband, and then eating nothing but leftovers until December.
I've had the candy corn, and you're right. I don't think you have anything to worry about. You're not including green bean, for a start. I think I still have some left over... I'd be happy to send you a side by side comparison video once my order arrives!
Just got my order and what was in my Damfino bag? These! I could not figure out what the heck I was tasting because it was savory and reminded me of thanksgiving. Then I realized you guys made stuffing flavored!!!! Interesting indeed 😃
I would love leftovers! I got distracted and forgot to submit my cart until it was too late. Leftover drops would be right up my alley. I promise this time have everything ready all at once!
He did such a great job on his own. I missed out on these flavors this run 😢. Maybe next time. Maybe the Christmas run will have something to this effect. 🤔
My grandmother once put celery in her dressing...it did not go over well. The majority of our family does not like celery. We have a sage cornbread dressing sage is Thanksgiving for us. I wonder if sage would make a good candy?
They are desiccant packs. we use them in the bucket to keep the candy dry it absorbs all the moisture out of the air in the bucket. You'll also find one in each packet of candy when you buy it from us. It extends shelf life. since they're in the bucket's already and they're going to go back into the buckets why not mix them in with everything else.
I’ve order a banana flavored candy. Does it tell you when your order would arrive or do I just have to wait for it to arrive. I’m looking at the receipt and I can’t find the due date
I dont know from where you are ordering, or when you ordered the candy, but not everyone can confidently say when a package will arrive. If you have got a email with the conformation of your order its very likely that you will receive an email from your local post service when they have received your order. Then you will know exactly when it arrives. It all depends on where you live. If you live in the states, your obviously going to get it earlier than if you were ordering from europe or asia
I must have barely managed to get one of the last orders of the feast pack, so for those who do want leftovers, I'll definitely ask for them too, so anybody who misses out can enjoy it at some point (and I'll probably pick up some of those in the future too if they don't go so quickly). EDIT: HAhahaha, Bernard's choice of glove naming is great!
We are swamped we usually are. As our website has said for a couple of weeks we are shipping between 5 and 12 business days out. Sadly handmade candy if it's going to be fresh just not ship as fast as Amazon has trained best to expect.
I would love some leftovers! I do have to ask though, is the ham flavor vegetarian friendly? Edit - never mind, saw in last year's video that it's vegan. Off to order!
I don't care what anyone else says, this is the most underrated channel on RUclips.
With your help will soon have a million subscribers. Please get a half million of your friends to subscribe
Yes my favorite I order too much candy though..love the wierd ones best

Damn, Bernard’s already a pro. Can’t wait to see what candy he’ll make next.
he learned it from the master of candy art himself... Greg that is 😁😉
Holy crap I just barely ordered this assortment like a week ago I didn't know they would run out so quickly I feel so lucky
Congratulations on the solo video debut Bernard!!! Great job as usual. 👍🏾
Bernard did a great job with the solo video 🎉😎 Good on ya, friend
I've been wondering how you made the dressing flavor ever since I got a pack of last year's mix. It is absolutely "savory candy" and I'm still amazed that you pulled it off.
The mushroom cap candy is tasty and pretty savory as well
Leftovers is such a great idea! I just wish it wasn't so expensive to ship to Vancouver :(
I'm in UK and shipping is like $50. Not possible.
I ordered 5 packs of damfino as a gift to a friend in norway... The shipping was more then the candy.
But hey its a fun prank
Long time viewer from Scotland Greg! Leftovers sound great. In the uk we eat bread sauce with Christmas dinner - would be a good flavour challenge!
Bread sauce, nom, nom, nom.
Do they have bread sauce in the US? I've got no idea, I just know I love it.
@@Maazzzo We have something similar-ish, called bread pudding.
these videos keep me sane, happy and entertained, thank you greg.

yummm leftovers sound delicious
The stuffing/dressing is my absolute favorite. It’s the main reason I have been looking forward to thanksgiving this year.
I now want to see your interpretation of ranch flavored dressing.
You're one of the only RUclipsrs I actually buy products from and I still have some mushroom candy but gosh darn I need me some leftovers!

For my family we use sage dressing for thanksgiving and Christmas.
Can't wait to see all the christmas videos. They always get me in the holiday spirit
We don't celebrate thanksgiving over here in Australia but if I ever make it over I'd love to experience your tradition.

Was that a bunch of dessicant bags in the giant mix at the end? Never thought about that...
Yup. Florida and candy and all
Shoot! I forgot to order early. I definitely want leftovers! The dressing was my favorite last year. Eating it with the ham is great!
Dang I’m sad I missed out on the thanksgiving mix. I hope I can get the Christmas one.

I ordered the Thanksgiving mix last year. I LOVED the ham flavor. So unusual. Only has 3 in the whole bag so I didn't share
I'm sad I missed out on this batch but would love to get some leftovers!
Wow, stuffing is the first Lofty Pursuits flavor I've tried that I genuinely don't like. Y'all are nearly 100%!
Some people really like it. It is a divider.
Love your videos!!! So curious...What happens to the huge candy end piece that doesn’t get pulled? Is it thrown out or reused?
Very interesting. Hello, I'm Vivian from Jersey. Love the vids.
I know you probably get this question alot but how do you clean the sugar and candy off of the scissors and the cooling table?

Great job, Bernard!
So cool! Question: what are those little papers that are there during the mixing of the flavors?
Dessicant packs. They absorb moisture from the air around the candy
It’s because of you I have started my own online lolly business in Australia. LollysRus
And I have enjoyed making my own rock candy.
I ordered the feast this year, but was deeply disappointed. I didn't get any ham pieces in mine.
Bernard, awesome job. Ummmm yes, leftovers please🥧🦃❗
I know that it doesn’t take you guys 12 minutes. So how long does it take you guys to start to finish
At least 10 minutes
I'm a viewer from the hyperrpg stream. When I can I'm ordering this before thanksgiving.. I love stuffing lol
What are the white bits of paper in the candy?
They are desiccant packs. we use them in the bucket to keep the candy dry it absorbs all the moisture out of the air in the bucket. You'll also find one in each packet of candy when you buy it from us. It extends shelf life. since they're in the bucket's already and they're going to go back into the buckets why not mix them in with everything else.

But do the snaz berries taste like snaz berry?
I keep expecting someone's arm to get caught in the stretcher
I was just thinking the same thing! that would be a terrible break 😬
I'm pretty sure that's how Mr. Fantastic got his powers, although maybe it has to be a radioactive taffy puller...?
I'm assuming there's some safety mechanism.
@@ShinoSarna Hard to say, a lot of their equipment is antique, though that machine, being motorized, may not be
There's an emergency stop button on the base of the puller. You can see it when they're evening the temperature at the beginning
Did you make another batch? I hope so cuz I seen that it's still up on your store and I asked my bf to order some for us 😋😊
Oh never mind I I read it wrong But still I'm Excited to try them
