This is freakin' amazing!...I just got two receivers and one ASA. I just set mine up stand alone and also with the app...really, really nice. I'll use them for the first time this weekend for a wedding.
@@robb.blumenreder Yes! They've been great! I've done three weddings with them so far and they've performed flawlessly and setup easily. Checks all the boxes!
I just brought two receivers with a handheld from B&H. "For your rapper friends, how to hold a microphone." 😂😂 #priceless I have rapper friends! Great piece of kit. I can't wait to use them this weekend and beyond.
The battery meter on the handheld is for the performer not just the technician. But as a technician. When turning on the microphone I have to open the app or run to the receiver just to see the battery life.
You can check the battery status of the transmitter by briefly pressing the on/off button. The LINK LED on the transmitter will illuminate to give you an idea of what the current battery level is. From 61% to 100% will flash Green, from 21% to 60% will flash Yellow and bellow 20% will flash Red. This is also how you can quickly identify which receiver a transmitter is linked to - the paired receiver will also flash its display.
how do you know what gain level is going into the receiver? there is a meter for AF output but I cannot see anything for the input gain level.... thank you
How do you unbrick the SKM-S handheld after the firmware update failed? When I attempt power it on - only the blue data light will come on and blinks constantly and will not pair or be seen by the receiver or the Sennheiser iphone app.
Yes, but are you going to make a digital portable receiver???? Would be nice to see this with a couple channels in a single battery powered unit that is bag ready.
How do i know which frequency range to choose? Im a mobile DJ in Los Angeles CA. I do gigs throughout LA, Hollywood and at times even have to drive out to neighboring counties/cities for gigs...I see they have an R1, Q1 and other options that operate in different frequency ranges. Im not a sound expert, i just like to use the best equipment possible...so if anyone could give me some advice on this that would be great...Im actually leaning towards the EW-DX line because often times i need two mics for gigs....Im thinking the dual system would be the better and cheaper option than buying two separate systems...thoughts?
Hello, you can find frequency finder information below. You'll be able to filter through which ranges are supported in the countries you are playing in. en-us.sennheiser.com/sifa
$699US for the handheld or transmitter if I'm not mistaken. For the handheld and transmitter with lavaliere, it's $999US. Just remember that these are single channel and not dual channel. Hopefully we will get a dual soon. 💪🏾💪🏾

Awesome! I hope you’re loving the new system and the wedding(s) have been stress free!
