    This is the absolute best explanation of how the Englander control panel works. My son and I thank you for making this video and sharing it. It has cleared up so much. We kept having his Englander 25PDV spit out pellets on setting 9 and the fire was massive and unbearable heat. Then when you stepped it down one to 8 or anything else below. It would burn up those pellets before the next load would arrive. Basically, we called it a cycle which lasted about 15 mins. Now, we have it feeding a proper amount without any pause. The factory 6-4-1 setting just wasn't working. I believe the bottom auger spins slightly faster than the top can manage. I get a full rotation from the bottom auger in about 40 seconds rather than one full minute.
    It's a 1 RPM CCW motor. It just seems to move slightly faster than it should.

    Help?? The top auger motor on my Englander continuously turns, it does NOT turn intermittently as it should; thus it just keeps pouring pellets into fire box. It’s as if it is receiving constant power. I have the back off the stove and can see the motor/auger just keeps turning & turning. Any ideas of what could be causing this? Thank you so much. The model is an Englander 25-pdvc/55-shp10.

    • @ReiMonCoH
      @ReiMonCoH  2 года назад +1

      Probably an airflow issue.
      If it’s not burning the pellets as fast as your feeding them, then you stove/exhaust pipe is likely not flowing enough air to get an effective burn.

    I have an englander for our house. It came with it. This should heat our 1350sq ft house no problem! But it doesn’t. Sounds like the blower isn’t coming on? Would that effect it enough not to heat the whole house?

  • @DespiZze

    I feel like no matter what my heat range is set at it always drops pellets consistently around 6 seconds. Any idea what could be wrong? Also if i turn my fan up or down it doesnt really change much either. You can hear it change around 5+ but from 1-4 it sounds the same and from 5-9 it sounds the same. Hope that makes sense. I just feel like when i make any settings changes they dont do anythinga and the stove runs the same no matter what I do

      @@jenkelly3832 that worked! Thanks. I have a new model. 2019. The only thing left to figure out is how to adjust the fan independently of the feed. Currently if I increase the feed the blower automatically goes up. It doesn’t allow for the feed to be higher than the blower fan. I want the feed on 5 and the blower on 2 but it doesn’t allow for that at the moment. There has to be a way to unlock to allow them to be adjusted independently of each other.

    Hey! Your video is very informative but I’m new to pellet stoves and struggling. I have an Englander from 2003. My settings are currently 4-3-1 and runs perfect when the heat/blow setting is on 2 but won’t run if I turn them down to 1. They won’t change independently of each other (they must both be the same setting on my stove). How can I keep my stove going on the lowest setting? My house is too small and it’s not cold enough out yet to need it up very high.

    • @ReiMonCoH
      @ReiMonCoH  2 года назад

      Mine is before error codes .. but as I understand it, that’s probably an airflow error. I imagine it uses a transducer or some other type way to confirm you have a proper air flow. If that’s the case it would probably use a tube from the room blower to measure that pressure.
      I watched a few vids on Englander stoves before I made this one and they talked about the error codes.
