IF YOU ARE BUILDING ARMOR FROM ANOVOS, DON'T TRUST THE NUMBERED STICKERS!!!! Double check and triple check to make sure your shins are labeled correctly. Apparently this is a common issue where the left inner and right outer or left outer and right inner halves have been mislabeled. I didn't know this going into this part of my suit and had to tear apart and reglue my shins after realizing something definitely wasn't right. Richie, thank you so much for your collection of videos. If it wasn't for you I might not have even noticed the subtle differences between these pieces, might not have taken the time to correct the issue, and DEFINITELY would not have known HOW to correct the issue. You've been a more helpful guide to me building my suit than I could find anywhere else on the internet and in person!
@@RichieStormtrooper oof. Too late for me I guess. I watched your video on what armor kits to avoid getting (after the fact unfortunately) and I remember you had said that the Anovos armor is too sharp, too detailed, making it more idealized and less screen accurate. Other than that, they are essentially the same as the RS propmasters kit, which you don't seem to have many qualms with. Was there some other reason for why to avoid Anovos? (Besides the utterly ridiculous wait time that is)
@@thomaslardinois6383 The anovos looks fine when built. As you say, it's a recast of RS. If you actually have the armour, then that's good new. It's often a miracle getting anything you've paid for from Anovos. Very unreliable supplier.
@@RichieStormtrooper Haha, yeah, there's no defending that. I had to wait 14 months for my kit. I'm thinking I'm next looking into putting together an officer's uniform and, suffice it to say, I will not be shopping Anovos. Speaking of, I noticed you've also got an imp uniform that seems to look pretty good. I've seen some shabby officer cosplays that I'd like to avoid. Are there any places that you would recommend or particular ones that you would not?

My advice: DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM ANOVOS, especially stormtrooper armour.
