Great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have a YX 4 valve roller rocker head and I was told to set the LCA to 100.Is it the same process or is it different cam gear required.I wish i had your knowledge. Thanks
Thank you too. The process is the same for any 4stroke engine and for any valve number. Yes, 4 valve, long degrees, can have from 95 to 105 LCA. Measure correct degrees and find the best one. Thnak's 4F
if possible, yes. you will receive more real measurement if the valve is in using condition. Having more clearance will result in less duration's degrees. You can also use lamellar tool to toggle space during measurement. put -> start to measure / toggle and reput for finish measurement.
+Crazyhero 1924 +Crazyhero 1924 Because a pre-lift valves is needed for correct calc of timing. Depending from aproachment ramp and total lift. On this kind of engine and more other similar, 0,5mm is a correct value.
good how to. i like the frenglish :)
+rian ritzen Thank's a lot.
But this is ITAnglish, the false "R" is also an italian problem for who got a France grandmother

Ok thanks. My head does not have the rocker the same as yours because it is 4v head roller cam.How do i set to zero?

Hi
why do you always go half a millimeter up (if i understood that right)?
