When I got my pictures back there was the one of the mother, only you could see her son dressed in his uniform like he was in his coffen only you could faintly see him with his arm around his mother. I wasn't sure I should show her the picture but after showing it to her she cried and thanked me and said she would have the picture enlarged and put up over her mantle. I really do believe that our sprite go on.

In the 1940's she was on a mission to entertain & her husband's wanted a wife in the kitchen. She tried but found she was not happy as a housewife, so she bravely ended those marriages & stayed single during the 50's whilst pursuing her career goals. I agree with you nothing but respect for her as it would have been hard for a woman certainly during the 50's.

I was never a follower back then, but the reruns of the original, I think I've seen countless times. The banter between her and Allen was top of the list great! She'll be missed...... She is an absolute icon full of grace, elegance & humility. I've watched some clips & award shows & I laughed until I cried. And I was astonished at how grateful & thankful she was at every award acceptance. I did my $5 donation to the humane society in her name. Im sure of two things, heaven is a lot brighter now & Allan came back to take his sweetheart home. While we're mourning, she & Allan are celebrating being reunited
18 years was a very short time for a couple in love to be together, I consider myself extremely fortunate that this March my wife and I will have been married for 58 yrs. That's forty more years than Betty and Allen had together.
Honestly her last words give me hope. Hope that we will see our lost loved ones again. I even told my 92 year old Grandma. My grandma is honestly ready to die because all her kids are gone. She lost her last son, my dad, back in September and often tells us she is ready. She is very religious too. So as soon as i heard about Betty's last word, her husband's name, i ran and told grandma. I believe Allen came for Betty. That's why she said his name before death. He was there. She is with him now. I have to believe that for grandma's sake because if anyone deserves to see their family again, it's grandma..
I read, every year on Betty’s Birthday, Allen sent flowers to Betty’s mother. When he comes on stage he’ll say “Hi Doll”, that’s mean for Betty’s mother.

I loved her sassy appearances in "Mary Tyler Moore" show, "the Golden Girls" & "Hot in Cleveland" in addition to guest appearances on "Bones". She was a lover of animals & she reminded me of my own Mother... always smiling, positive & had a contagious laugh !!! I knew about her marriage to Alan Lundin & that she said he was her soulmate. Yes I followed them from the start due to my Moms love of Betty, when Alan and Betty married we celebrated with glass of champagne in our home (I was to young so I had cider). My Mom and I watched all we could receive of the password games, shows and movies. I feel like she was my grandmother as I saw more of her then my real one. She is an angel unlike no other and I will miss and cherish her forever. 😇😇😇

That's how you know it's true love and you found your soulmate because most people just hook up with somebody cuz they don't want to be lonely. I didn't really know that Betty White and Allen Ludden were married while he was alive. I guess I wasn't watching a lot of TV in my late 20's. I was 29 when he passed. But I always loved Betty White. Maybe because she reminded me of my mother who was a lot like her. They even shared an obsession with the game "SCRABBLE". I went to the 100th birthday Fathom Events Celebration movie yesterday and it was wonderful. A lot of people my age or in that range. Also the lost episode they showed at the end was from her show "A Date with the Angels" which aired in 1957-1958. It was great. Betty played a double role. Typical sitcom of the 50's but very enjoyable. I miss her and always will but I believe Allen Ludden was at the "door to Heaven" and when she spoke his name as her last word and it was because she saw him and knew it was time for him to take her home.
This woman is credit for helping savibg my life. For some odd reason she made me happy just looking at her beautuful smile. After I noticed the good effects she has on me, whenever I am sad or depressed I would watched her show.

I've been an avid fan of Betty White since I saw her on Password. I loved her sassy appearances in "Mary Tyler Moore" show, "the Golden Girls" & "Hot in Cleveland" in addition to guest appearances on "Bones". She was a lover of animals & she reminded me of my own Mother... always smiling, positive & had a contagious laugh !!! I knew about her marriage to Alan Lundin & that she said he was her soulmate. I totally get why she had no desire to begin another relationship ... once you've had the best, nothing less will do. Also, I do believe that when we die, we get to reunite with those people we loved who have passed before us. May Betty RIP & wishing her a happy reunion with her love, Alan !!

I'm 62 and had no idea Betty & Allen were married. Where've I been?!?
Yes I followed them from the start due to my Moms love of Betty, when Alan and Betty married we celebrated with glass of champagne in our home (I was to young so I had cider). My Mom and I watched all we could receive of the password games, shows and movies. I feel like she was my grandmother as I saw more of her then my real one.
She is an angel unlike no other and I will miss and cherish her forever. 😇😇😇
I understand her completely. I was married in 1979 my husband died in 1998 period And I have been single ever since it is now 2022. That's how you know it's true love and you found your soulmate because most people just hook up with somebody cuz they don't want to be lonely. Once you found your true love and soulmate nobody will ever measure up. She was a beautiful soul😪❤
I started watching Password when I was 10. I’m 68 now. I always loved Allen Ludden. She lost him too soon.

I didn't really know that Betty White and Allen Ludden were married while he was alive. I guess I wasn't watching a lot of TV in my late 20's. I was 29 when he passed. But I always loved Betty White. Maybe because she reminded me of my mother who was a lot like her. They even shared an obsession with the game "SCRABBLE". I went to the 100th birthday Fathom Events Celebration movie yesterday and it was wonderful. A lot of people my age or in that range. Also the lost episode they showed at the end was from her show "A Date with the Angels" which aired in 1957-1958. It was great. Betty played a double role. Typical sitcom of the 50's but very enjoyable. I miss her and always will but I believe Allen Ludden was at the "door to Heaven" and when she spoke his name as her last word and it was because she saw him and knew it was time for him to take her home.
Such a big part of our lives.
