We all can agree the first despicable me is the best despicable me movie, and the one with a focused plot that keeps going and never has any subplots in the way, no terrible kids humor, and no 9 minion scenes.

Grinch in the original 70's cartoon and the Jim carrey version; He is scary, hates christmas because of the noise and kids or because the Who's bullied him when he was young (Makes sense) and has gross teeth plus his theme song is great.
Illumination's Grinch; He is not very scary, hates christmas because he was alone and the ONLY kid in an orphanage. Why there was no adults to take care of him? Why nobody visited the building if it was next to Whoville? This makes no sense! Also, his song is a lame rap and the lyric '' His teeth are yellow. '' is stupid, this Grinch's teeth are white and shiny.
In short, Illumination didn't understood the character AT ALL and ruined his song. Thank's for that 😑

The Easter bunny in Hop has a sleigh with flying chicks instead of reindeers. Wow, that's so creative 🙄He couldn't just create magic tunnels in every countries or something no! Copying Santa was a better idea!
Hop is so bad. EB is not funny, the humans are boring, the music too and the villain is not scary or entertaining. It's awful from begining to end. It's not even a guilty pleasure movie, it's terrible! I give it 1|10.
Rise of Gru and Despicable me 1 are hilarious, have likable characters and cool villains as well as fun action. I love them both! 10|10 for each 😀
