Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I learned about this tongue tie condition only yesterday and I realised I have it. TMJ's clicking and tension , neck and shoulder issues, not being able to roll my r freely, and - the biggest problem to me - problems in my singing that affect tone consistency and, therefore, my career. I have worked on my technique so much, but I intuitively knew there was something holding me back, I thought it was the jaw, the narrow palate.. when yesterday I came across this, the penny dropped. I'm going to learn as much as I can about this and see it through.
Thanks once more for your honest videos and your spontaneity. It's the first time I have the feeling of seeing a friend just by watching a stranger on RUclips. You cut across the distance and one connects with you instantly. I wish you all the best and thank you once more. 🙏
Now on to the other episodes of the this journey!

@@MANOJKHARWAR-we6wz in the end, no. And I'm glad I didn't. I was hyped by this info, but soon after I've encountered a great teacher who just showed me it was wrong coordination to hold me back, not a physical limitation. We worked on tongue-jaw independence exercises, and voilà, sorted!

Thanks so much for these videos! I had my tongue tie released 5hrs ago and the injections were absolutely horrific! No numbing gel beforehand, just straight in with 4 extremely painful needles under and in my tongue. Your videos make me feel like I’m not alone though - thank you!

Thank you for your heartfelt and honest videos! I am contemplating getting trained in myofunctional therapy and I am still learning. I am a hygienist and while cleaning teeth is fun, this tissue release therapy is grabbing my attention and making me think differently. We have to get to the root of the problem to fix all the symptoms instead of just treating symptoms. Huge problem with western medicine these days. :( this video was fantastic!

Thank you so much for sharing this journey. I'm 40 years old. I was just diagnosed with a tongue tie after I took my kids to get checked. My husband has it, too. Now, we are going through myofunctional therapy, and we are planning to all get tongue release procedures.

I looked to find an updated video on your release years later. I would love to hear if you remain tongue tie free and if you continue to see benefit from it. I crack my neck every day multiple times a day. It never occurred to me that it could be related to my tongue muscle that I store so much tension in my neck and shoulders. Wild.

Hi great videos. Your honesty is beautiful.
I've recently been told I have a tounge tie and that surgery would be the best option and it's all I can think about. I'm very excited because I'm also very tense in my shoulders jaw and upper back and hope these can be fixed through this procedure. Did you feel angry that you never got it fixed as a child and how much your physiology has been changed by a bad tounge? Has your breathing change for the better?

Thank you for these informative and honest videos!! They are Soo helpful. I have a sever tongue tie, but never knew it could lead to so many issues and could explain all my chronic neck and back pain, headaches, tension. I'm looking into getting a frenectomy, and myofunctional therapy. I love watching your journey. This gives me confidence I can do this, and hopefully it helps.

I just got tongue tie surgery yesterday with scissors. I still can't speak well right now and it's still painful, but not as bad as yesterday. With the scissors, I got stitches to close the wound, but it seems like you didn't get those. Did you get stitches with the laser procedure?
Thanks a lot. Your video is really helpful. And I am glad that everything is going well for you.

Mandy Irby whaaat yes you absolutely have to do stretching with stitches, otherwise the frenulum may reattach and tongue tie will reoccur.

The chiropractor says she has cst training and does it while doing the reg chiro adjustment. But the whole visit lasts 7 minutes or so.
The stand alone CST sees you for 1 hour of therapy. Do I really need to see the CST therapist or is the same thing being accomplished in just a couple minutes by the chiropractor?

I have recently become aware that I have tightness in my neck and shoulders most of the time. Randomly throughout the day I will notice that my shoulders are up high for no reason, so I try to relax, but it will often go back once I stop thinking about it. I'm tongue tied and just found out that that may be linked. This is so fascinating to me, so I'm trying to figure out if I should get my tongue released too.
