Homeowners left with crumbling foundations after contaminant makes thousands of homes "worthless"

Homeowners across Massachusetts say their homes' foundations are crumbling and are now pleading with lawmakers to help save them.

Concrete is filled with all kinds of garbage including slag which they call fly ash from furnaces producing steel, just one of many things they put in concrete to get rid of it.

It sucks for them but what about those of us who haven't been able to afford to buy a house yet? No help for us and now buying a house will become even more expensive due to the new insurance fee.
And rents could go up because our landlords have to pay this new fee.
