I absolutely love my myolift mini! Can’t do without it. I’ve been using it for slightly over a year. I still use my nuface when I travel or when I just need a quick pick me up because I find it to be a little faster to use. I like the myolift because I can go much longer between treatments. They are both great devices and both have their niche.

Hi Beth-thank you so much for your detailed report on this Myolift device! I was torn between this unit and the Nuface but decided to get the Myolift. Any future reports, tips, etc. would always be welcomed. Thanks for all that you do to help us mature gals😀

    • @FiftyPlusBeauty
      @FiftyPlusBeauty  2 года назад

Yes, the Myolift is a truly great device! I think the difference between the two devices is if you were a person who needs to develop the habit of doing something daily the new face works better. That is the case for me for sure. On the other hand though the Myolift seems to be a stronger device and if you have a discipline to use it in the intro. And then do it once a week for maintenance then that would be the better device for sure. By the way, sorry about the spelling of Nuface as I am dictating this and I can’t seem to go back.

I have been using the Myolift mini for a couple of months now and I watched a lot of different tutorials. One thing no one talks about is that if you have neck issues this is NOT the device for you. You are constantly having to move your neck in all kinds of crazy directions to be able to simultaneously get to the right areas with the probes AND be able to look at yourself in the mirror at the same time. That is the only drawback for me. It was bad when I first started using it. My neck was pretty sore before I understood what was happening. Otherwise I really like it. Unfortunately I can only use in in areas where I don't have to contort my neck so I can see what I am doing. The Nuface doesn't require you to constantly be looking at yourself in the mirror. I also use the over the counter sticky contact pads connected to the current on my jowls and I think that may be doing something. Thanks Beth!

Yes, the new face only takes about five minutes and it is very easy to use. I have to admit that it may be hard to get me to switch as a Myolift definitely takes quite a bit of effort. I will never know when 30 days though if the extra effort is worth it.

So exciting, Beth! I've been on the fence on which microcurrent device to buy..
I've watched a few reviews and comparisons btw this device and Nuface. Most seem to prefer the mini over the Nuface. Don't recall that anyone's mentioned that this company provides devices for in-clinic use - I wasn't aware of that!
You haven't mentioned the gloves yet, but you probably will - I'm only a quarter of the way in. Thanks so much for this Beth🥰...AND the discount! Your video's are always so informative, and FUN!
P.S., o.k. just saw your comment about the free gloves with purchase. I'm ALL IN...I've fallen to the other side of the fence now...phew! 😁

Hi Barbara. Please note that you can only get the free gloves if you order after Friday. Actually, I think if you order on Friday you will get free gloves. I have started to use the gloves and I do like them better. You don’t use the probes and you can just use water and not their solution. I am still not sure whether I prefer the Nuface or the Myolift mini. For me. The new face is second nature in very easy to use. That’s just me though.

I believe the chin dimples are caused by the layer of tightened fascia that lies between the under layer of the skin & the muscle... and this tight fascia that results in the appearance of dimpled skin (cellulite) - the tightened fascia layer can be released with deep massage.
I just learned about this from a comment someone left on another YT channel.
There is a device called Fascia Blaster (actually several devices, a smaller one for face/neck/chest, and larger ones for the body - mechanical massagers, not electrical).
I looked up this person mentioned by the commenter who developed the Fascia Blaster - her name is Ashley Black.
Anyway, it looks totally authentic. Many users release their body fascia by 'fascia blasting' their body where they have cellulite.
Turns out once the fascia is 'released' the cellulite melts away. Ashley has a video on its use for the face and neck (as well as other videos on 'fascia blasting' the body)
I'm thinking I'm gonna try it - it's not a pricey device at all. She uses it to firm up the jawline and also says that those long vertical 'chords' that develop on the neck (under the chin, that run vertically all the way down to the collar bone, are formed by tight fascia in that area. Mine are beginning to get more pronounced, so I'm gonna give the fascia blaster a try in that area, as well as along my jawline.
All the micro devices warn against using microcurrent in that area of the neck bc of the thyroid gland. But we can definitely use the Fascia Blaster there, as it's just a massage tool, not microcurrent.
And I definitely think that area of the neck needs to be addressed.
You might want to Google Ashley Black Fascia Blaster, watch a few of her videos and see what you think. 😉

@@FiftyPlusBeauty yes, most everyone agrees that the Nuface is easier to use - so it's not just you that's ine reason I've been on the fence about this for so long. From what I've seen if comparison videos, it does seem that the mini gives better results than Nuface, plus the gloves make it much easier to use, it seems. Also, pretty much everyone agrees that Nuface needs more frequent apps to maintain the lifting effect (daily or every other day), whereas with the mini, maintenance can drop down to once or twice a week to maintain the effect. I'll look into the sale at their site, so as not to miss the opportunity for free gloves. Thanks for letting me know🥰

I’m sorry that I usually list that below the video. If it is not there, unfortunately I don’t remember what it is. Sorry about that. I can’t remember but it seems to me I wasn’t wearing any make up at all in that video. Sometimes I will start out wearing make up and then go to bear face but I think I was barefaced in the whole video. I didn’t have any mascara on.

I know this might sound like a copout, but I really do like both units. I think each one does work and is effective however each one is probably designed for a different user. I like the new face because it is very easy to do and does not take much time or thought. I like the Myolift so because even though it is more complicated I think the results may be more long lasting. It will probably take me another 4 to 6 weeks of using the Myolift before I can really tell you honestly which one I would prefer. I’m sorry it’s taking me so long but I don’t want to miss lead anyone.

Beth ❤ Would you consider making some new tutorials with the Myolift. I find the 7 E wellness site to be so very unhelpful. I would love to see a glove tutorial and also a tutorial using the forehead, eye and lip mask. I saw another RUclipsr use splitter cables so she could do two masks at a time. My question is, when using the gloves apparently there’s a difference using one or two fingers in concentrated strength as opposed to using all five fingers….I get that. My question is when using the splitter cables would this principle apply also? Would using two masks at a time reduce the current flowing from the machine? I watched the Organic Esthetician do a tutorial on moving the lymph and working on the fascia. She referenced Jane Mann as the guru of micro current. I found her and did an hour long session that really focussed on lymph drainage. You’re so very responsive to your tribe, I’m hoping that you have the time to make what would be really valuable tutorials. Thank you❤❤❤

Hi Julie. At this point I am not really sure. I do know I have used and loved Nuface for a long long time. It is very easy to use and quite easy to incorporate into one’s routine. I am liking the Myolift mini but it does seem to be more complicated. After a time you can use it much less than the new face though so that would be a point in its favor. Unfortunately, I really can’t tell you right now which way I would go.

Hi again, Beth! Two questions for you. 1) are you derma blading your brows now? And 2, does Myolift help with nasal labial? I have a Nuface since they came out with it but stopped using it in favor of other treatments. I find it tedious. My face structure is much like yours (no fat transfer but am thinking about it because I love your cheeks). I n love trying out new treatments. Looking forward to getting out instead real world again. Watching this video for a 2nd time, thinking of ordering the works! It all sounds good! Enjoy your weekend! 😘 Lydia

No, I am not derma blading my brows. I am using a great brow serum called rapid brown. It really does work. I think Myolift may help a little with a nasal folds but that is a tricky area. It’s kind of like the jowls. I think microcurrent works in both of those areas but it may not be a total fixed.

Great info and demo Beth!! You have perfect skin and face structure. Do you use on botox/filler areas? I used the myolift mini for a bit more than a year and it did work especially for lifting the cheeks. I did find that my face got wider - inflammation maybe so I stopped 3 months ago. But just recently noticed my cheeks have dropped so I will pick it up again. A hack that I saw @Aging Naturally with Jodylynn was to put gauze on probes with elastic bands as an alternative to the gloves (which I own but find too rough on my skin) and then just use mineral water as a conductive agent. Also, has anyone noticed plumping or less lines around the mouth?
