Hand setup although time consuming is not that long compared to figuring out the list of repeaters that I wanted to have on my various radios that are generally within range of my home.
Hi there! This is KE2ACS/AG/DU1, and I'm curious whether you've ever noticed that the FT2/3/5 transmit at less than 5watts when using a mobile antenna. My setup consists of a Diamond SG-7900 on a magmount mounted on the second-floor wall with a 4 meter coaxial cable. On amateur frequencies, that antenna's VSWR measurement is less than 1.5:1. What are your thoughts on this observation?
