I didn't realize that Black Sabbath album cover was Aerochrome, that's rad to know. Also fun fact about me, I think Black Sabbath is one of the best names any band has ever come up with-- I could only imagine how my grandma must have felt when my dad was cranking Sabbath in the basement lol. Probably the same way my dad felt as I was cranking my crazy metal shit as a teenager lol
Oh this is cool! The shots at 4:13, 4:33 and 5:32 are instant winners. This reminds me I've got some Lomochrome Purple in the fridge and a road trip coming up in a week. I'll be bringing some of that purple goodness with me. Thanks for sharing Dave!
Cool -- thanks for checking the film out! The green-to-pink/red (bumped in post) is still striking -- like Aerochrome was -- and the grain isn't any worse than Lomo Purple (original Aerochrome had pretty fine grain) -- so definitely a Spring/Summer outdoor film (though it would be interesting to see neon and backlit signs). But the skintones are actually very much closer to 'normal' -- even with the radical shifts from green. I like it! I need to buy a dorm fridge to expand my film storage -- my fridge and freezer now are at least 1/2 full of film! Wait -- maybe I should *SHOOT MORE FILM*!!!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Thanks Dave!
@@theoldcameraguy -- Oh, forgot to ask -- what were the parks that you went to? I think that my (photographer) daughter in Ohio would love to take the grandsons to those -- let them run around while she takes photos! Thanks!
Literally knocking it out of the park once again, you always make the offbeat and unusual films look so interesting. I particularly like the rail bridge and windmill shots and of course your awesome wife, I tried portraiture with Lomochrome purple and it came out surprisingly well, keep those Sunday videos coming 😊
I got some results much like that in non modified purple .. I also got very grainy and soft images like yours.. Maybe this is just how the film is.. I have a roll each of purple , turquoise and there Metropolis in 120 that I need to shoot this season yet.. Now that I know what the film likes and dislikes I hope to take some better images this time around :).

Thanks for watching Bas!
Ooh I love the results of the portraits! I love how Lomo Purple handles skin tones, so it’s nice to see that that continues into this film!
I was pleasantly surprised with the portraits - Thanks for watching

Fridge and freezer being half full of film - Now that’s a good problem to have!

Thanks man!
Interesting film, I do like images you got. The graveyard shots worked particularly well in my opinion 👌
Thanks Andy
Might grab a roll to try in my Canon Rebel Ti, and a roll of 120 when it's available.
Yeah, I’d like to try the 120 in my Pentax 67
Whimsical and intriguing.
It's very fun to use! Great shots🤘
Thanks man - you got a lot of keepers with this stock too. Totally agree on this being a fun film to shoot!
As always, Mrs The Old Camera Guy is awesome. We note. other awesome wives are available. :-)
