Very cool. My grandfather worked for Euclid near Cleveland in the 80s and early 90s. I know he said they also used to use them in the salt mines under Lake Erie. Enjoy your videos. Reminds me from when I was a kid exploring the coal mines in Southeastern Clearfield County, PA.
Chris they have been stripping that area since the 70s when I was kid. Spent many summer days in the valley. So many homes have been destroyed. My cousin fell down a strip mine behind there house. Heckshersville was a once thriving Readiing coal company area. The old homes still stand up further along Valley road. Have 3 family members living in the area. That thing has been sitting up there for years. It's called the Marion. Always sad when they cut down and clear cut the trees. They are destroying the area and have been for a while.
